Now that I have your attention, who cares what they think. Beat Oregon and we'll get all the respect in the world, beat Florida the week after that and we'll be the new kid on the block everyone loves. Until then all of the barbs and disrespect are well earned (see also: the last 4 years). I have optimism but we shouldn't be so shocked that we are the butt of the jokes right now and that's not going to change until we win some big games. That can start tonight, if nothing else if we give the ducks a scare we may start to see people take us more seriously.

I've just seen a lot of folks on here upset about comments from different media outlets and honestly I don't like it either however they aren't totally off base either.

Im loving these motivational posts!!!! Were tennessee for god sake!!! Rebuilding years are excuses used in the acc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, its just all part of the fun of being a fan :) ... these forums would be dull if people didn't rant on about everything.

I agree, I'm not one of those folks that thinks we will get killed tonight because I've been a fan for a long time and I can tell when this team is fired up and ready to play and believe me these guys are hungry. I'm not saying we will win but after tonight no one will be able to say UT is a pushover.

I like your post. I completely freeking agree with what you're saying. You know, last year we were getting the pub b/c of the weasel. Now, we're not even on 'the show' for weeks.. But, that doesn't matter. We are Tennessee. We will step up and win and get that recognition back because you can not deny strength when it rises. GBO!
