I mean physically hurts.

To sit here and watch while potential defensive coordinators who should be jumping at the chance to build their resume' in the SEC say no to Tennessee... my program... Tennessee... no... no thanks...

I have to endure this disgrace. Such is the moment I find my team in.

But I want all of you who said no to know this... We are Tennessee, and we shall return. You have no idea what you are missing out on.

I'm pissed. We're pissed. And we are gonna make those who disbelieve pay.

So let it be written. So let it be done.

I also find it really hard to believe a guy like Steele would turn down the chance to return to UT, where he played and coached. Especially for more money. He chose to stay at Clemson????? I still don't get it.

Just something to keep in mind......it took UGA, 41 days to find a new DC and they did not have a coaching change AND were not two weeks away from NSD

All Is Well!!!!!

We have no idea what is going on in his family life right now. There are any number of reasons.
Guys and gals, this is a BUSINESS now. Coaches do not move "for the love of team" anymore.

Heck with em all!!! They are all just sorry anyway and want to stay in a "comfort zone" and not come to a huge program like ours and be expected to perform. I mean C'MON!!! STAY AT CLEMSON????!!!!! vs U.T. We don't need them kind of coaches anyway who are not willing to jump in the fire man!! HATS OFF to Dooley. He was willing to jump in the fire and kaos that LAME left us in and is already working tirelessly!!! RITE ON!!! He will find the right DC fellow Vols!!

Its the timing with most of these guys, YEP some coaches have integrity. They dont want to get painted into the same "x" class:rock:

It could be they are waiting til after NSD before leaving there program so not to look bad like our coach did. I know it is underhanded on the back side.

I live in Georgia and I hate to deal with the dawg (I still don't get a bunch or redneck spelling in a ghetto way) turds.
But the truth is, Georgia has been the best program between for at least 5-7 years.

We were in panic mode here too, for a while. Picked up Tim DeRuyter though and the announcement is supposed to happen today or Friday.

It'll happen fellas, just give it time.

Put yourself in these guys' shoes. If they're worth anything as coaches, they are trying to stay loyal to their programs at the most important time of the recruiting year. Look at the venom directed towards Ed O. for bailing on UT's recruiting. If the coaches in place can close out recruiting, I'd expect the Vols to get a first-rate DC AFTER NSD. Same with a running backs coach.
