I know. I know. It's all been said before.

I say either change our name to the Tennessee Coonhounds (not likely) or bring back the Volunteer

Just noticed it again during the game and it rankles.

It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. However, I would definitely like to see the Volunteer return as well.

Yeah but you see the image on top depicts a white man who was cruel to an innocent raccoon by skinning the poor thing alive and wearing it as a hat, and then pointing that instrument of destruction, surely an early version of the AR15 at a unsuspecting social victim of that time period.

During that time period, nobody was an unsuspecting social victim for long. They would quickly revert to fertilizer. Good old days.

Guarantee you there are some blithering idiots, even in this forum, who would absolutely try to make the case why Tennessee should change their nickname and mascot/logo using your exact verbiage.

I'd only throw in "bloodthirsty warmonger" as well since we had so many Volunteers leave their family and home for the expressed purpose of killing, with their pre modern day assault rifles, those poor little Latinos who only wanted a place to stay a job or something that the xenophobic pioneers just wouldn't do.

My favorite hat has the assault rifle wielding Volunteer on it. 150 round clip.

That Smokey logo is the tackiest thing ever....reminds me of some stupid "no fear" logo from mid-nineties. We have to get rid of that and burn every shirt, sticker etc

A WASP packing a gun symbolizing UT? How did that ever pass the PC police?

Seems like the Office of Diversity would burn mattresses. They wouldn't tolerate that sort of diversity.
