This is what happens...

Lol because that's totally what the problem is. Couldnt be because we were 4-8 last year and still have the same crappy talent or anything.
Tennessee has more talent than we're showing today. Plenty of blame to go around, including coaches. I can take a loss, but this just isn't acceptable.

I feel like Pruitt is not showing good leadership skills. We are down by two touchdowns early in yhe game, and he is playing desperation mode on every fourth down.

Instead of being an anchor, he is kicking boards on the sideline.

This team isn't that good, but they aren't this bad.

No. Even the talking heads are pointing out the body language, the lack of any sign of player leadership on either side of the ball. If this doesn't change there is nothing the coaches can do except try to fire them up themselves. If not...3-9.

Were going to be 3-9. No way we beat 2 of the teams left.

If we want to have a winning team it starts in administration.

Tennessee AD makes a lot of money. Look it up. Why are we hiring unproven people?

Once we figure out the answer to that we can move forward.

Phil was stuck in a bad situation that was created by the admin before him.
Sadly he was stuck coming in trying to hire a coach late in the game after the top choices were already off the board. Worse yet was that we didn’t have a single respectable coach on staff that could act as an interim for this year while he could do an actual coaching search.
I believe we got the best we were gonna get after everything that had happened.

Hilarious. Burn the tape, not sure they'd learn anything from it. Hasn't seemed to work in the past so why start now?

When you hire an AD and head coach with no experience.

Tennessee is not a learning ground for a new head coach.

I'm trying not to be negative, but this last coaching search did a lot to me.
I'm not sure Saban could do anything with this group.... Pruitt's working with extremely limited talent resources.... I'm talking third world **** hole level resources.

I don't disagree but you said "if we want" a winning team. I keep checking my messages but Tennessee hasn't got back to me yet on my recommendations.

we could make 5-7. But point is we're not a bowl team. We can upset Vandy and possibly UK. No way we beat USC or MIZZOU.

Relax. We have had plenty of five win seasons since 2008. Butch was our best coach in the last 10 years and he got the most out of this talent. Took him few years. Now we give Jeremy few years to try to do better off the worst season in history. Our QBs suck that does not help and our oline sucks.

Johnny majors also took a few years to get it going. U guys are crazy judging him this season lol.

I can agree with this. He showed his players and everyone watching that he was in panic mode. Gotta keep your poise and assure your team that the game is far from over.

Muschamp seems to have grown a lot in head coaching maturity since being at SC. Maybe Pruitt will, too. Brutal and disgusting sloppy loss tonight though. Not seeing a bowl game this year. The only game I really care about winning during the season is Florida—and we didn't even show up to play.

You're killing me smalls. Using such phrases as upsetting Vandy and UK. Those are not supposed to be used by Vol fans until recently.

I said before that I thought they had more talent then what they showed last year. Not seeing much improvement this year with the same players is what I'm having a problem with.

Yeah, I agree completely with you. It's not Fulmer fault he had to take what he could get. I like Fulmer.

All I'm saying is that Fulmer should never have been AD to begin with. I don't even think Currie should have been (that's a hindsight call though hah)

We have what we have though. I'm hoping for the best no matter how ugly it gets. :)
