This is what happens when you put a Cincy staff in the SEC

Most people are laughing at their own comments.....why is oregonvol getting his panties in a wad?

I stand by what I posted. I still don't think Butch will ever win the SEC. I still don't think that the 2013 class was a recruiting success.

If we really want to go over everything today, I can make posts about sketchy player development, or about losing ~30% of a recruiting class in about a single year. I can make posts about the system, about where our offense ranks. I can make posts about losses to Vanderbilt, to Muschamp.

But today is actually a good day. Today is a day that where Butch has really done a great job and given us a reason to hope for the future. And I want to enjoy it.

You and your ilk want to use it as a pretext to insult people or to argue that the coaches shouldn't ever be criticized, and that's just silly.

Easy Oregon. There's no ilk and I wasn't intending to insult you. Just found it a bit interesting that you even brought that up when your other posts that I've come across today have seemed genuinely positive, optimistic and complimentary. You and I actually agree on a lot of things regarding this staff....we disagree on the job Butch did with his first class under trying circumstances and time constraints. Just not sure why it was brought up on again on the heels of the last 2 outstanding classes. Anywho, let's bury the hatchet on that deal and appreciate what Butch and staff have accomplished with the overhaul and improvement of this roster.

I would just like to know if the original poster was exiled before or after he made that post.

Yep, you hire a mid major coach and then let him just bring over his mid major staff and give them big raises, you're probably going to end up with mid major talent.

There's really no excuse for this. You got out-recruited by Vanderbilt. You got your a$$ handed to you by Ole Miss. You've only had two months? Well so has Gus Malzahn and look at his class.

Penn State got the virtual death penalty and Bill O'Brien is still out-recruiting Butch Jones.

I've given Jones the benefit of the doubt up until now, but today I have to say it looks like he'll never get us back to the top of the SEC.

lol

Stand by it all you want. It still won't change how ridiculous it is.

The secret to eating crow is all in its preparation. Bump of the year IMO
Tifwiw.

Everything I said was a fact whether you like it or not.

Did we not get out-recruited by Vanderbilt? Did we not get absolutely whipped by Ole Miss? Penn State was not subject heavy sanctions? Did they not finish right next to us? Did Malzahn not bring in many more top prospects in the time allotted?

The 2013 signing class was not a great success. Its ranking was lower than any class Dooley signed.

What is it that you don't understand about that?

I will say (and have said many times) that it is amazing and impressive that they have done a phenomenaol job and exceeded everyone's expectations in recruiting since then. But I'm not going to engage in revisionist history. Sorry.

I wasn't the one who bumped the thread, nor the one who began attacking other posters.

My time can be better spent elsewhere than trying to argue with someone who is complaining about a top 25 class after the coaching staff had 6 weeks on the job.

My above post speaks for itself.
