I don't think I've ever heard Dooley admit he sucks but this guy does:

Munchak following the Titans loss @ home

"Second-year Titans coach Mike Munchak acknowledged after the game that if the Titans don't improve, his job might be in jeopardy.

"If a team underperforms, I'm the first guy you should look at for that, not anybody else, not assistant coaches. It starts with me," Munchak said, according to the Tennessean. "If we don't finish this season the way (we) should, then what needs to happen will happen. Sure, it starts with me, I'm the head coach.""

It goes on:

"In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular-season home game that was such a disappointment for myself and fans of the Titans," Adams told the (Nashville) Tennessean. "We were grossly outcoached and outplayed from start to finish today.

"At this time, all aspects of the organization will be closely evaluated, including front office, coaches and players over the next seven games. If performance and competitiveness does not improve, I will look at all alternatives to get back to having the Titans become a playoff and championship football team."

Adams, 89, told the Tennessean that he was so disheartened by the team's effort that he left in the third quarter so he could fly home to Houston.

"I just can't be flying up there to see that happen," Adams told the newspaper.

So hold on. You don't think Dooley knows his butt is on the line? You need him to hold a press conference just to say it?

When I hear DOoley speak the first thing that comes to my mind is this guy was a spoiled kid that has never been told no. I don't believe he's ever been in a position of failure and doesn't know how to handle or own up to it.

Hold on, you're telling me he's not a loser but a winner since he's never failed.

I'm so confused, I hear he is a loser then a winner then a loser. Can you guys make up your mind on this matter?

I'm pretty sure he knows exactly what is going on here. He is nothing if not smart. He knew his tail was on the line before the year began, and he knows it's on the line now. I don't see him as being in denial, but as head coach, what good comes from saying you are failing? You put your head down and go out their and try to fix it until someone tells you that you're done. We just haven't told him that he was done yet.

What Dools should be saying at press conferences is "Does anyone here know if Uhaul charges by the mile or by the hour?"

Uhhh....
"It starts with coaching."
"We need to do a better job of coaching, and it begins with me as head coach."

He says those things like a broken record. So I'm tired of this crap of "He never takes responsibility" He knows he's in trouble. He grew up with the Fire Dooley crowd of his father and can handle it. But if he sat back and said "I stink" and didn't do a darn thing to try to fix the situation like he has been, it'd do absolutely no good. Like dlw4n said, he's going to keep going and not look back until they tell him to stop.

Munchak is a self-confident man's man who has already accomplished something in life.

Derek is living off his daddy's name with zero accomplishments in the sporting world

Munchak may be one to look at after this, but let's be honest, Bud Adams created this mess a long time ago. He's a terrible owner.
