Butch has got to use whatever voodoo magic he has to make sure Da Gators slip up in Baton Rogue.

Then he's got to win out. Honestly don't care about style points now. Just win.

If he does these things then he is set up for glory and redemption. The most glorious glory. Yes the mountain is high. No, Butch has never ever ascended these heights. But in ButchSpeak - he's got the ultimate learning opportunity.

Beat Bama. Dash their dreams. Take the SEC away from them. Make Saban cry and lash out at Lane. Prove you belong here. Find a way to win on the biggest stage against elite competition.

What Butch needs to do is concentrate on not choking and blowing our chance at ATL. Let Florida worry about itself.

TN has to get there first. How in the world TN would upset bama in ATL would require nothing short of a miracle but I do believe in miracles.

If the game were in Gainesville I might be a little worried. With it being in Baton Rogue I feel a little better about it.

I think we take care of Mizzou and Vandy, though I think Vandy will be the tougher game.

Real question is: IF we beat Bama in Atlanta, do we (TN Fans) rush the field at the Georgia Dome and take down their goal posts?

ESPN’s Football Power Index gives LSU an 82.2 percent chance to win on Saturday, and the Tigers opened as two-touchdown favorites in Las Vegas.

The FPI gives Tennessee a 67 percent chance of beating both Missouri and Vanderbilt to finish at 9-3 overall and 5-3 in SEC play. Its probabilities also show that Tennessee has a 55 percent chance of winning the division and representing the East in Atlanta.

Could you imagine how the college FB world would flip upside down if our Vols was to make it to the SECCG and pull off the upset?! It doesnt hurt to dream ever now and again!😁

If Bama enters the SECCG undefeated, then a UT win won't shake up much of anything. If Bama wins the Iron Bowl they're in the playoff.

CBJ has to do what every coach must do. Win! And that means beating teams in the top ten and top twenty-five, otherwise you 're a mid tier program. :ermm:

Honestly.... I'm torn. I'm not entirely sure that I don't want UF to be the lamb sacrificed to Bama.

UT couldn't handle Bama when more guys were healthy. Now the Vols basically have no DT's and still have problems at LB.

We come in hot and pull the upset and take your spot in the playoffs. By winning the west y'all have made the playoffs, you could lose out and still get in, if you beat us.

We aren't losing to Mo or Vandy. Florida loses to LSU and Fl st(has nothing to do with the SEC business).

Think about it. Do you really think it would be better for Florida to win the east than the Vols?

We got our problems, but trying to dodge games is not one of them.

Not if Bama is undefeated going in. 10-3 UT is not getting in at the expense of 12-1 Bama. I don't know why you think that, but you are simply wrong. The only way 10-3 UT gets in is if 12-1 Bama is ALSO in. Even then, UT needs more help than is possible.

I wasnt thinking on the lines of shaking the playoffs up. I was just thinking how the college fb world would be flipping out with Bama getting beat by a team that they throttled earlier in the season. I agree, that Bama would still make the playoff with a loss in the SECCG. What a W it would be though! 😁

That's the kicker, the more you win the better chance we have of taking that last spot. I still wouldn't mind if y'all ended your season on a losing streak, as long as we are part of it.
