I think we really lack a mean, nasty streak on the offensive line. I don't know if it is allowed in the VFL program, if not an exception should be made

Might be because this is the first Tennessee team you have ever watched that was decimated by 3 head coaches and 4 offensive systems in 4 years, and 45 players that left, didn't pan out or were kicked off the team for arrests and substance issues. That's almost two recruiting classes...hence 16 starting freshmen. What else would anyone think was going to happen...really? Is it getting a little clearer now why Will Muschamps and all the other golden boys of coaching didn't want to take the job and clean up after Kiffin?

Kiffin and crew would coach a better game on gameday. But not a better crew overall(violations, lack of tradition,etc..)

Watching Oregon & Arkansas run their offense is awesome, and it took some years to get it that way a whole lot of time & talent. I hate hearing people say this but Tennessee should stay the course and see what the full potential of the offense can be a few years down the road

We're 108th out of 110 Teams in rushing offense. I can remember if we were rated 38th or higher it was embassing.

I can't think of another vol team that this team could beat. They don't know how to win. There may be more young talent on this team than some, but this coaching staff and team play like losers. Maybe the 88 squad, but other than that this team is an underdog to any UT team I have watched(82-present).

Thanks. Its tough watching mistakes like that. looks like our D is getting burned a lot. I guess the good news is that our run game is looking a little better. can't wait till next season when everyone is healthy. but until then I'll keep supporting our boys, while not expecting to much.

Me to. Just got to be patient. We'll get meaner & smarter. The defense should start playing like days of old. If we can get a big time runningback & the O-line starts knocking people on their ass it will be a whole lot more fun to watch mixed in with Bray, Rogers, Hunter & Arnett

People won't be happy with 8-4 next year. Dooley is not the answer. Guys not a winner. I think he is the football version of Buzz Peterson. Hopefully he raises the talent level before he goes, and the next guy knows what to do with it.

I know he came into a tough spot, but I am not really complaining about the wins and losses. The problem is the repeated problems with critical stages in games. The good ones are at their best then. He gets out coached consistently when there is a chance to change the complexion of the game. We don't know how to play like winners and, unfortunately, I don't see one more year of experience fixing the problem. Chaney needs to go and we need a RB coach.

We should be 8-4 next year but not because we out coached anyone. We wil be more experienced, but we don't have a "winner" at the helm to show them the way.

of the 26 signed in 2008 by Bobby Petrino he graduated 17 seniors tonight. That's pretty good, we must give Dooley that sort of patience

I started in last year of dickey and bill battle and beyond. Losing to north texas state ranks up there as bad

I'm sorry to those who may doubt me on this, but '05 would have given this team a woodshed beating. 08 was probably slightly worse.

History backs you up...... First UT team to ever be 0-6 in conference play with a possibility of getting worse. They're not just hollow words, it's unfortunately a fact.
