The safety’s were playing deep thirds and corners were off the WR by 8 yards most of the day.

Screw you. I was giving my assessment of where things are and such. You must be one of the sunshine pumpers “if we don’t get 9 wins a year omg we are screwed” get real!!! We weren’t winning 8 or 9 this year anyhow. 7 would have been nice but it’s looking like we will be lucky with 5

If you think that just winning 8 games next season means we have turned the corner just remember Butch won 8 regular season games years 3 and 4 the crapped the bed year 5. This team has to be completely rebuilt. This whole athletic department has to undergo a transformation that is typical for championship teams. And that's through strength and conditioning, recruiting, and player development. If you don't have the stomach for that then that's ok. But if you do trust the process and try to enjoy it. There will be ups (beating Auburn) and downs ( losing to S. Carolina) but without "pumping sunshine" I do see improvement from last season. I am also one who doesn't pitch a fit when Butch Jones smokes a cigar, I see him for the way most see him an incredibly petulant child who isn't smart enough to see even his own team is trolling him. They are telling him have this cigar and thanks for sucking so much at this place and making our jobs so ready today.

This team is miles ahead of where they were at the start of the season but the reality is that this is still the garbage dump roster left by Lyle and there are still plenty of his players still carrying his mentality.

The officials screwed us at several key moments and yes there were some questionable calls by the staff but at the end of the day we are getting better.
The result most here are expecting is a couple years away simply because we need better players and they need to be coached up. A coach can’t just come in and dump an entire roster and go sign an entire new one full of 5-stars in free agency.

Yes we beat auburn but for most fans on this board that is probably the worst thing that could’ve happened for Pruitt. Not because of anythingnhe did but because suddenly people took us from a 3-5 win team, to thinking we should suddenly compete with Bama and win the east and anythingnless is a failure.

People seem to forget that a bowl game is still a possibility but at the beginning of the year any person that actually knows football and has seen what we have as a team struggled to find 4-5 wins for this team.

Both of the passes were well defended. The first pass the DB knocked the ball down from behind and the second one JG threw the ball to Palmer who was being doubled covered and the ball was knocked away.

Say we finish 5-7 or get to 6-6 this year. We should hopefully hit 8 regular season wins next year and hopefully by 2020 have 9-10 wins. If we can’t achieve that then JP was the wrong hire...time will tell...this season needs to end on a positive note..

If the effort is there then I have zero problem with overthrown balls, drops, missed tackles, etc. What burns my @$$ is the undisciplined personal foul penalties, false starts over and over, unsportsmanlike penalties and so forth. This program needs discipline and when that is instilled everything else will fall into place and our program will take the next step.
