UGA suffocates opponents more so than "making plays". Most programs have things they do well that they try to emphasize. UGA is the least "flashy" great team I think I've ever seen. They win most one on one match ups consistently. They don't make very many mistakes on either side of the ball. Just constant crushing pressure everywhere.
They're like quick sand. You struggle... they take advantage and suck you in further.
UT's chances IMO are pretty simple. They have to get some deep shots like they did vs UK. Hopefully tempo can force some mistakes like it did vs Bama. But really, it is probably more about the D than the O. UT has to go pressure. Be aggressive. Be exotic. Take big risks... and don't get too worried if you give up big plays. What I don't think they can do is bend don't break like they did vs UK. UGA is a much better version of what UK does on O.
They are reminding me of the Bama teams under Stallings.
Competent but not great on offense.
Suffocating on defense but they don't have the big splash plays as much.
