OMG gtfo!!! Give Pruitt a couple years or go cheer for Bama. I’m sick of all the coaching changes!!!! This **** has to stop!! If they keep firing Head coaches they should just end the program!!! Get real!!!!
Then you'll go root for Bama or Georgia?

Some of you waste a perfectly good summer anxiously awaiting football season. My suggestion next yr is to cook out more, go on more hikes, play more golf, enjoy the beach or lake one more time. This isn’t getting fixed soon.

I’d rather have 220 lb pound linemen that could get in the way a little quicker than that whole starting five. Although center exchange has been exceptional.

On the other hand, we put 14 offensive points up against the Gumps, and LSU put up zero as they were humiliated at home.

I think coach Pruitt had a plan. He knows the o line in the worst unit on team maybe in college football. I know a lot are upset withb play call and score but yesterday was time to get them as much work as possible. THEY NEED IT!!!

Seriously?!? We beat a decent SEC team in Auburn at their place, were in the game until the last minute or so at USCe, and have already matched our win total from last year with 3 games still remaining on our schedule. This team is so far ahead of last years team, they're not even in the same zip code.

In other words, the Vols don't suck quite as bad as last year. There,I fixed it for ya.

We’re limited to what we can call since our pass protection is a joke. Idk how anybody can’t see this other than a few people
The TV announcers refferred to it also...saying that Helton was forced to scheme around a weak OLine.

I double dog dare Pruitt to start KC....double dog dare...Pruitt appears to be as stubborn as the last coach we had...well he can expect the blame
Too late to do that now. What if Chryst shines like new money? That would make several coaches look bad. Doubt we even see JTS behind this line due to possible injury.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we're no better than last year
While possibly true, relatively speaking, I think we are getting better fundamentally, yes, we have issues, but this time last year we were getting worse .... fast.

Let’s say a MAC or Conf USA team switched to the SEC one year. How long would it take that team to become a legitimate SEC team? That is us right now. Our recruiting for the last 5 years has been focused on that type of player so that’s what we have to put on the field. I’m tired of saying “it’s going to take time” just like everyone else but at least this time the recruitment is centered on the type of player it takes to compete in SEC play.

Butch left the cupboard almost bare. Pruitt is using the hand he was dealt to him. Like Troy Fleming said last night, we just don't have the horses right now. Like it or not, we are playing with a bad hand and there is only so much that CJP and staff can do.

Cant changed QB if the other guys are worse. They watch them Practice JG is the best option. The lines are the issue D and O.

Your mistake is thinking the other QBs are worse. KC's QBR rating against Bama was higher than anything JG has done all year. So to say he is worse is ignorant. If the coach would give him some playing time then we would know for sure but JG worshipers are afraid of that and would rather lose the rest of the games than take a chance on their precious JG not playing.

To simply say that the lines are the problem is also ignorant. While we may be weak in those positions it didn't seem to stop KC and company from 2 straight TD drives against Bama and field goal attempt in the 3rd, afterwhich coaches allowed only one pass the rest of the game. Not even LSU scored against Bama so what's their excuse, their line????

In all my years of watching Tennessee football, this has been by far my least favorite team to watch. Also it's by far the worst offensive line I've ever seen wear the Vols uniform, and that includes the 2009 offensive line that started two 265 pound walk ons. It's sad and embarassing.

Hold on now I'm very intelligent and also played the sport at a very high level. So I appreciate you fellow VOL not using ignorant to describe me. Actually the Alabama score was I believe 28-0 when KC came into the game. Reason why the score makes a difference is because the game was already decided and at that point the dogs were called off. The coaches watch the kids practice as well as former players. JG is the better choice not the perfect choice. The biggest problem is the O LINE and from that point many other problems as well.

I have no idea how we can be this bad.

This is a pathetic representation of Tennessee football.

I'm not saying anything about the coaching staff yet, but these players are terrible.

I know were thin on the O line, but all of these lineman were recruited by legit football programs other than the vols. Why cant they frigging figure out who to block ?

We just scored 7 offensive points against flippin Charlotte. Let that sink in for a second.

Shewww.... honestly this is hard to read..... It really is. 7 offensive points. I may resort to sucking my thumb and saying Ma Ma! It really is hard to watch.

With that being said I still bleed orange I will support my beloved Vols till the day I meet Jesus.

Thank you Eastknox for some common sense. Alabama had already hurt one QB (they didnt know how bad JG was hurt and neither did we) and they didnt really want to ruin Pruitts season (hes one of them, remember?) by knocking out Chryst. The intensity is also off somewhat after you score 4 tds pretty easy and quick.
