This is sad

That is on the coaches - it's part of their job to get players excited about playing UT football.

This might rank as one of the worst wins in the history of Tennessee football. Don't know what tickets for this game cost, but the coaches, players, and AD own the fans a sincerely apology.
Coaches inherited these players you can't expect them to turn water into wine. If a coach has to put fire in these kids every game something in them isn't right. These kids have bad habits that can't be broken in one season. The only fix is graduation.

We lost our only talented offensive lineman. That being said, offensive staff has to do a better job getting the ball out to playmakers in good position . Backwards passes and deep ballls aren't going to get it done.

That means a change in QB's.....how well is that working out. something bad bad wrong with this picture...

With a better OL, I honestly think we'd have a better record. I think the rest of the team, though not excellent, is good enough to compete. The OL has consistently been the disappointment. It doesn't help that both Trey and Kennedy are out.

We have very good players at skill positions. That’s about where it stops.

Terrible O line. And a steep drop in talent at the two deep across the board. Recipe for disaster.

We’re limited to what we can call since our pass protection is a joke. Idk how anybody can’t see this other than a few people
I double dog dare Pruitt to start KC....double dog dare...Pruitt appears to be as stubborn as the last coach we had...well he can expect the blame

OMG gtfo!!! Give Pruitt a couple years or go cheer for Bama. I’m sick of all the coaching changes!!!! This **** has to stop!! If they keep firing Head coaches they should just end the program!!! Get real!!!!

I was trolling. I guess I should’ve made the number higher considering some ppl actually believed we’d pay a football coach that much money.

The online is a major EYE SORE but the play calling is a pain in the !!!!!!!!
How the he’ll can anybody be an effective play caller dealing with this crap OL? How can you have confidence that they can execute anything? Because they can’t. We’re 10 weeks into the season and they’re letting guys who are lined head up on them run free. Marcus Tatum was just letting a DE giving up 40 lbs to him just walk him back all day long. Richmond couldn’t cut a DE off on the backside of the play, primarily due to poor effort. And don’t get me started on Ryan Johnson and the two poor Ogs who have been atrocious all year long, no matter who they are.

It is surprising after all these years of rebulding, we still have so far to go. Even interstate 40 rebuilding eventually was completed.

He can't sign OL mid-season, so I'm not sure how much blame he deserves. He IS coach, so he'll always get blame, but this OL is more indicative of the previous staff's inability to evaluate and recruit OL.

Wrong. The previous staff evaluated and recruited players that schools like Alabama, Auburn, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia and Miami offered, among others. Coaching plays a huge huge huge factor in how things play out. Do you think New England always has vastly superior talent than all other NFL teams? Nope, not even close. They simply have the best football coach ever. Not only on game day, but during the practice week. Teaching fundamentals and breaking down game tape. Coaching matters a whole whole lot.

Pretty hard to turn around 3 years of poor strength and conditioning in one off-season. Our guys are smaller, weaker and slower than our conference opponents...i don’t take much from this game. It’s pretty common to sleepwalk through games like this because it’s simply hard to get up week in and week out. I think the team will look more with it next week. Will we win? I don’t know, because I’m not sure our smaller, weaker, slower o-line can stop Josh Allen’s pass rush, and I’m not sure our d-line and backers can stop their run game...but the effort will be there as it’s been most of the year.

Eh, we donypt know how many offers are actually legit. While anrecruit may show offers from these major schools, it doesnt mean they are all legit.

Agreed. People just gloss over the fact that we are on our 3rd S&C program since 2015. They instead just want to iump and blame the rookie HC.

I love my VOLS but my goodness this is flat terrible. O line can't block my grandmother. The only fix for this is to recruit. Coaching with not fix our problems.

Thank you ...... someone who gets it. You can't do what you did today and call yourself an OL. Hell you've been impersonating one for almost 8 weeks.

I hate to tell you this but it was coaching that led to us only scoring 7 points on offense. Look who we were playing. A QB change is needed but coaches won't do it.

I'm just as frustrated with the o-line as the rest of you. However, we are not behind I-40. Ever since I was a kid going to Erwin/ Unicoi for Christmas, Statesville and Morganton have been a disaster. It hasn't changed . Them you to fight the world to go get exit 53B towards JC. Not a whole lot of dull moments after Black Mountain.

Cant changed QB if the other guys are worse. They watch them Practice JG is the best option. The lines are the issue D and O.

Last year we best Ga tech, and lost 3 conf games by a combined 15 points. I'm not sure any of our last 3 are winnable

Barely beating a 5-6 Georgia Tech team and 3 moral victories isn’t something to hang your hat on.
