He's got a quick twitch. We've seen flashes from him, and consistency is finally gonna show up. The name of the game on Saturday is the ability to connect on the quick passes to the outside and hopefully across the middle. Pig can make ppl miss. I look for him to gash UGA several times. Hopefully this will free up North and Croom to get some big yards as well. But it's gonna start with Pig showing up.

I feel like this is the problem with our fans (no knock on you as you just gave your opinion) we expect complete 180 degree turn arounds game to game. It takes time, don't get your hopes up for something to come from nothing, look for slow inprovements that will culminate to huge improvements.

Only IF Worley get the ball to him without hitting the field or overthrowing him

I found it interesting to hear Butch on the mic yelling at Pig that he would be the first slot receiver in this offense that doesn't catch 100 balls. (on ESPN All Access)

Hopefully that proves to be motivating.

Only if Worley can get him the ball and he has proven he can't do that with any consistency.

It all depends on if Worley can get him the damn ball

If he would make the ball all his and go after it he sure could help the offense and Worley a lot. A great receiver makes catches instead waiting for the easy ones to come to him.

One of these days, Pig Howard is gonna turn into a big-play machine. It's coming. Could be around the same time Worley flips the switch, and for the record, I think that day is coming too.

There's no way it doesn't happen. Pig Howard is the prototypical Jones/Bajakian slot receiver, and this offense is tailor-made for him. Just got to execute to completion.

Throw in if only Pig would 1. continue his routes and 2. go up and fight for the ball when thrown to him and we're on the same page.

1. He sat in an open hole in coverage on an option route 2. IT WAS TRIPLE COVERAGE!!!!

Pig is just another receiver with the speed GA has. Frankly this will be a game he will NOT stand out in as the defense will be much quicker overall than the D of AP, WKU and S. Alabama.

I don't see how in heck this team scores much with the way the offffense is playing right now. They won't be able to run or pass effectively I fear.

1. Tell that to Butch.... he didn't act it was an option route 2. Agree Worley shouldn't have thrown it... still think Pig should've turned and tried to catch at its highest point.

Maybe it wasn't but I thought pig made a good read in coverage

I think pig didn't know anyone was on the other side of him on that deep ball and was just going to catch in stride

He wasn't open where he was. Maybe he didn't see the guy behind him but Worley did. I am not sure he would have been open even if he had continued the route but maybe he could have prevented the INT.

2. IT WAS TRIPLE COVERAGE!!!!

Bad read by JW all the way. There was a remote chance Pig could have knocked the ball away if he'd somehow sensed the guy behind him... but he can't be faulted on that one.

He didn't... and maybe it wasn't.

If so then Worley's post-game comment was even more kind to Pig. He said that they just read the coverage differently.

No..cant get him the ball in space or with any seperation

Someone noticed and posted earlier that he tends to roll his routes rather than making sharp cuts. He won't get space or separation if that is and continues to be an issue.

If I am Worley though... I am looking for 18. He's my guy.
