What's the point of doing a Malcolm X movie when it's already been done well? How about an MLK movie?

I know there was a tv miniseries starring Paul Winfield and Cicely Tyson but I havent seen a movie about MLK.

Tyler Perry's step and fetching *ss portraying Malcolm X is a fricking travesty. IF this is real I think he is doing it just to piss Spike Lee off as his Malcolm X was probably the best movie he has made.

Tyler Perry is a talentless hack. It is almost as if he tries to make shows and movies as godawful as he can on purpose just to see how far his fans will go before they call him out. He is the Adam Sandler of Black movie producers.

Unlike Sandler, he is a great philanthropist, and highly respected for his work outside of showbiz. If people are paying enough for him to continue to make movies, I say he should just keep on trucking, though I can't stand any of his productions.

Yeah, I've got nothing against his good acts. Still think he is talentless. And let me be clear about Sandler, I think he is a talented comedian, but he is a horrible producer. And I have no problem with Sandler or Perry exploiting the viewers' lack of taste. I would do it too if they continued to lap it all up like a bunch of mental patients to the tune of millions per year.
