This is perfect for Bama. They can send Butch packing, since Butch has shown he cannot regularly win SEC games. Bring on Bama. Send Butch packing. It's time for a change.

If Butch is still here for Bama...........the beat down will be on him........and more recruits will de-commit......more players will become frustrated, and things will only get worse.



Butch must be fired before Bama....to save anything resembling a season.

There’s never a good time to play Bama. Flame away, but the younger generation could care less about the rivalry with them. Shouldn’t be playing them every year. Automatically puts us at a disadvantage and automatic L.

When I taught at UT, you’d be shocked to see the number of TN students who actually cheered for AL every week except when they played TN. You can’t really blame them. They’ve grown up not knowing what it’s like to see TN at the top.

That's humbling but so true. I was at UT during Majors last year and Fulmers first...that was a tough time in Knoxville. But UT came back strong after my freshman year (I think we were 5-6) then the Andy Kelly era kicked in and seemed like we were 9-2 or 10-1 every single year....and it was a blast. I remember the crowd brining the crossbar of the goal post to the Last Lap, which is where I worked, the night we shut Bo Jackson down. The Strip was ROCKIN' and everyone was always in a BUZZ...literally. I had to transfer because I wasn't getting any studying done. Wow....that was the start of the modern day Tennessee powerhouse football. Sadly, it was a long time ago.

Man...Cobb/Webb, Tracy Hayworth, Carl Pickens, Tony Thompson, Alvin Harper, Anthony Morgan, Antone Davis, Charles McCrae. Two 1st Team All American OL on the same line!! Wow...sometimes walkin down memory lane is humbling,

What if Alabama is truly evil and they decide to keep the game close so it makes Butch look like the team is doing alright?

You can always just watch the highlights after the game is over.

Did my graduate studies at UT during the Dooley years. Needless to say... you can imagine how my experience was. I envy yours.

What I'd give to get Knoxville back to those glory days. Tennessee deserves it again. We've paid our dues. It's time.

You know we're going to watch.

A little kerosene on this dumpster fire just adds to the entertainment. The painful, depressing truth. As fans we are just along for the ride at this point. Some of us are hovering at the point of apathy, some are angry, others are off the reservation, welcome to the asylum!
