Not that I endorse Florida by any means, but for them to crush GA like they did is too funny. The kicker being that Tebow surpassed Herschel Walker's record before the half! That's so funny it hurts!:post-4-1090547912:

The VOLS played well last night and creamed USCjr, so I'm a happy man today. Didn't like the black jerseys, but at least they didn't have names on the back.

I understand the sentiment, but I will never even remotely celebrate any good fortune associated with UF. They are the only SEC team that I don't root for outside the conference . . . if the Taliban had a team and played against them, I would have a hard time picking a side (almost).

I hear you! Can't stand 'em either. I just love the double slap in the face for GA. They get trounced AND see Herschel's record fall at the same time.

Being down here in UGA country, I had quite a few of them get in my face and tell me that Herschel did it in only 3 years. My response was yeah, but Tebow's a quarterback, not a running back! They got quiet after that.

Herschel did it in three years. Sure Tebow is a QB---but in reality he is a RB that can throw. Herschel is the best college player I have ever seen. Tebow may be the second best---but If you saw Herschel---hmmm

They also didn't count the stats from his bowl games. They weren't counted for whatever reason when he played. So in reality if you were to go back and add those in he'd still probably have the record for another week or two. Add in that they played less games back then, and the fact that he only played 3 years, and Herschel's achievement was obviously more impressive.

I'm sick of Florida. That being said, I hope they destroy Bama in the SEC title game, assuming Bama beats LSU.

I fail to find humor in this. I'd cheer for anyone else in the country over Florida any day. This is a prime example of how Tennessee-Florida is not a huge rivalry. There is not near enough hate in the relationship

Oh no, I hate Florida. I hate Florida more than I hate Bama. Maybe because I am a younger vol fan, but I hate Florida more than any other team on this planet hands down. I hope they lose every game.

Herschel was superior to Tebow, but he couldn't do the things Bo could do. Bo was the best offensive player Ive seen in the SEC.

Yeah, I think that's going to hurt FL in the end (one dimension). I think it was kind of embarrassing for GA that the record was broken against them. I mean I'm not putting them down or trying to rub salt in the wound but that had to hurt.

I respectfully disagree. I don't like the guy either but Tebow may be the best all around college football player ever. If they end up winning it all this year it will be hard to argue otherwise.

I respectfully disagree also. Tebow will be lucky to even play in the pros. Tebow throws short passes mostly and runs the ball for 5 to 10 yards. He's miles from being the best player ever....geesh.
