This is getting ridiculous

Outside NT, any of those "horrible" teams can beat us if we don't come to play. We need to be very, very careful next week.

Well of course. Again, shouldn't have said Kentucky was horrible. But Vandy just beat Missouri

I completely agree with you. Bama is top notch and we played them to the end.

In their house - we are way better than we were two years ago. We are very close to being very good - if you can't see that, you're just not capable of rational thinking right now.

6-8 of those Bama DL will get drafted while UT had to start2 true freshmen.

The DL who almost had to draft an OL held Henry to less than 100 before that last drive. The D didn't give.up the.long play and.had a lot of.pressure and sacks.

This team played.out of their minds. They didn't fall apart or blow anything. Seeing these negative posts (not talking about Medley) are ridiculous.

The fact so many of us didn't give UT a shot in heck. This was the first game in forever I've been able to have a good time watching with Bama relatives. Heck of a game. Played their hearts out. The difference between the trenches is unbelievable yet the OL and DL played their guts out. 0-9 SUCKS and I hate Alabama and am SICK of losing, but come on.

Some of you say quit accepting losses and face reality? Guess what? This IS reality. Now, lets roll over the next 5 HORRIBLE teams and get a nice bowl slot and build on nezt year. Super excited about Barnett McKenzie Tuttle Phillips and Hall Jones and Roberston on the OL!
P.S. Glad to see the secondary play better. No 12 and 13 giving up 5 TDs, and Martin played solid.

*applause*

CBJ and his staff prepared their team better than Bama's staff, and for the most part out-coached them on the field. Roll that one and smoke it, because that's the only way I would have seen that one coming.

Go back several weeks when CBJ said adjustments and auidibles are over rated. But hay I guess your ok with this part of the game. Carry on dumbass.

I heard the press conference and he said nothing about audibles. His point was that you develop your game plan and work within that plan.

Urban Meyer would have this team undefeated if you ask me. He does more with less than any coach that I've watched in a very long time. He could even take Vandy and make them bowl eligible.

He has his team this year playing great. That's sarcasm. He was fortunate last year and this year shows that he doesn't always do more with less. Look at his last years at Florida. He quit because he was doing so well.

Meyer is a good coach but it doesn't hurt that both programs he inherited were nowhere near in the shape that Tennessee was when Butch took over.

Zook was a good recruiter but a terrible coach. Florida was pretty stacked when he took over and the same with OSU.
On a side note I don't think Lombardi's ghost could make Vandy bowl eligible this year.

Look we played way better than everyone expected, everyone. We had saban ready to fire clk for most of the game and even Henry was ready to quit til that last drive.
Bama has equal talent to our starters riding the bench and while they are developing them through practice and learning, we are forced to throw ours in the fire just to have a chance to compete with the big boys. I said it after Ark, CBJ needs another year and after pulling it together these last 2 games I think he can till pull in another top class this next year without fear of it falling apart.

We just need to see an 8-4 record. No more excuses for the rest of this season. We have more talent than anyone else that we will play. Time to get the W's.

I like Dobbs, he's a good kid, and a decent QB at times, but I feel like we should be recruiting QBs who expect to, and want to play on Sundays.

Wow. I didn't realize Dobbs doesn't care about being a great.football player who wants to play on Sundays. Bench him. No kick him off the team. No heart!

Knock Dobbs all you want but he made some big plays today and captilized on a handful of busted plays. Was also the best player on the field against Florida and he's one of the main reasons that we beat Georgia.

Very well said. The gap in talent has closed but Alabama still clearly has the more talented and deeper team and yet we had a chance on the road in the 4th. If you want to accuse me of looking for a moral victory, then you can pi$$ off! I am looking for improvement in my team and I am seeing it - BIG TIME! Kentucky is the best team we have left. Win next week and 8-4 is not only possible but it is probable.

We closed on USC two years ago. We played great but just short with Georgis until this year. We gave Florida all they could handle for the last two years. The second half of Bama last year indicated progress. We played with Bsma and could have won today. We are closing the talent gap with the major rivals. Continue to recruit and develop and we will be winning consistently sooner than expected. We could easily finish the regular season 8-4.l

Where did I say to bench him or kick him off the team?

Oh right, I didn't.

Dobbs was a monster against Georgia and played well against Bama. The kid is incredibly smart and likely will be working for a large aeronautical firm. Butch can be very proud of his academic record as a coach. Yes, that counts too. We were in danger of penalties for academics when he came. These are student athletes and most will not play in the NFL.. Grades matter and they too represent in other ways than the pros. Dobbs is a model student and apparently a great kid inspired by his disabled mom and a very strong family. For anyone suggesting this kid has no heart, you are just being ridiculous. Watch the SEC Inside piece, this young man is a leader and will be accomplished in life.

Good post and quite right. The next few years will be very memorable. We have developing talent and great character. They are at the threshold of the next level of success. Leave Butch alone. Get a good 2016 class in. We can and likely will finish running the table.

I agree with the op and you in a way but we had the talent to beat them we just ran out of time and got into a big hurry on the last drive. ;)
