Teams that should win, lose and vice versa.

KY is NOT the better team that came out on the field, but they are a SEC team and know how to take advantage of silly mistakes. For that, they have to be applauded. They were ready to take advantage of any miscues. Smart defensive plays on their part.

Give a team like KY some easy ones and they will not flounder them. Very few teams can come back from being down 17 points. Momentum plays a key role in football and KY had it going their way. They had a legitimate chance to beat an old nemesis on the enemy's own field. And they took it.

Yep...we play that game 9 more times we win 9. It was a crazy day and unfortunately we don't have the rhythm at QB to win games.

I thought of starting a thread along these lines but figured it could just as easily be addressed in one of the countless ’OH NO, we suck again” , JG Sucks/ prove me wrong “ or the “ FAHR.... (fill in the blank) / I saw John Gruden @ the Cookeville Red Lobster with some big wigs” threads .

You have a point OP. So far the only consistency this year has been the inconsistency. Alabama is the only remaining SEC unbeaten. UGA & UF each have one loss which will obviously change soon and everyone else has @ least 2 losses . The teams that started out well are tanking and many of the teams that started poorly are trending upward. Even Alabama seems ripe for an upset and although history tells us it won’t be this weekend I can easily see them stumbling along the way. IF, and these are big IF’S TN could stop the stupid /selfish after the whistle extra curricular activities &defend the slant we would immediately have a better chance of not getting blown out. Figure out make actual positive adjustments at the half ,get better production out of what should still be a decent OL & find a QB to complete the occasional pass and not turn the ball over they could turn things back in the right direction in the W-L column. If somehow they can figure this out they should be able to have at least a punchers chance in the remaining 5 games. The way this obviously crazy year has been going across the league should be evidence to the men in that locker room that four or five more wins are attainable.

The QB problem is the most glaring issue and personally I would be surprised if a change is made before the bye, whether or not the change should be made this week or after the off week is debatable. I believe the response of this coaching staff after this weekend may very well tell us whether CJP can get this thing off the mat or if The University of Tennessee will be starting another coaching search in the not too distant future.
