This is cool. Mosley's announcement at school.

Deserves it's own thread. Charles seems like he will be a great addition to the locker room. Very personable it seems.

That being said, weird announcement. The coach just kind of backed off and made it awkward. Charles saved it though.

Glad he's a Vol

Really happy to have Big Charles finally make it official. He has personality for days and will be a fun one to see on The Hill. Welcome to the family!

Yeah, if I had to critique the "press conference", I would have rather have seen them turn off the lights or something before he came in. I think he had a good idea but the execution well, just wasn't there. The coach didn't really do anything to make it suspenseful or funny.

Charles seems like a very genuine person and a great kid. You can just tell he's a really good person who people like being around. Really glad he chose UT!

Kid is huge. No doubt. Glad he's a Vol! I hope this creates a trickle effect for TN students. Seeing more of their classmates go to UT to play football might actually make more UT fans than if these same kids go to Bama, Florida, etc. and cheer for them because a classmate/friend decided to go there. Might be a stretch, but having more instate kids come to UT can only be a good thing now and in the many recruiting classes to come.

Agree. I think he'll take Tiny's leadership role. Seems to have an infectious personality.

Almost every element of that made me proud, from the kid in the crowd saying go Vols (it's good to see we still have state pride) to him having both mother & father there to support him just made me smile! Go Vols Big Challz!!!

No doubt the coach didn't like this announcement as he is a Tide guy. Dang the relevance is beginning with recruiting and starting to remind me of the old days.

Local coaches who are Tide guys are about to be very disappointed for years if Butch can keep this in-state wall up.

He's a confident kid. 1st step in success imo. Second is heart, and Im fairly certain he possesses a lot of it.

I would have like to have seen Big Charles announce and then drop a shoulder and run through the kid with the Razorback sweater on.

This video shows me that he is going to be a player that is going to come in, and young kids are going to fall in love with him. Is that why we recruited him? No, but I see value in Big Charles beyond what he does on the field. I now see him as a more important recruiting win than before.
