From the original post, I'm still left to wonder what the "last straw" actually is, but I suspect it's another dispute leading to certain channels going dark?
Just as a PSA, I wouldn't be so quick to rejoice over the death of cable/satellite providers. Once competition is removed, choice is gone along with any hesitation in raising fees. Remember who owns YouTube and YouTube TV now. Be careful what you wish for.
That’s a pretty good deal. Maybe they’ve changed their ways a little bit. I know they’ve locked in prices for 2 years recently, but they changed my internet from $50 to $90 after 1 year. We recently upgraded to fiber for twice the speed at basically half the cost . I’m not an old head as someone might’ve suggested, I just think Spectrum is a POS company until they face a little competition and then they try and roll out the red carpet when you tell them you’re leaving. Pro tip: never call and try to cancel spectrum over the phone . Take your equipment straight to the store or else you’re in for a nightmare of a phone conversation. It’s way cheaper than most?WiFi, TV, and 2 cell phones are 200 dollars?
I’m actually a sales specialist for Spectrum on the store level. Switching to our mobile and having Internet with us can actually be pretty cheap. We use Verizon towers and we have the number two priority under them.Agree. I have spectrum. People act like they are saving a lot of money by avoiding cable. I've looked around. Cable is still higher, but not by that much.
Honestly, this is any company in America. The people that switch to bright speed are going to be very disappointed. They have no store for you to come face-to-face with someone and the technical support is a joke. I know two people that are still waiting for installation on some of their services 43 days After switching. You have to read the fine print. That’s a pretty good deal.
