A little protest isn't a bad thing. It makes you talk about the topic. You might agree with them, or you might not, but at least it brings something to light. The problem over the years has been people have had it to easy, and just let everything slide. That time is over and now people are having to address these issues.

The working class has been totally disenfranchised. It truly is "taxation without representation" today. We have seen it, where a supermajority in Wisconsin supported the workers, but the legislation went ahead anyway. Extra-parliamentary action is obviously a viable alternative.

Michael Moore represents hypocritical uber-leftists who don't mind other peoples' money being confiscated and redistributed in accordance with Marx, but when it comes to their own money, they discover a form of capitalism that would make Donald Trump blush.

What do you mean? His movies seem very successful and have created 100s of jobs. Has he been done for tax evasion?

I'm not even sure how far to the Left Michael Moore is actually. Universal health care is a supermajority position, wisely reached by Americans. Economizing and efficiency without loss of quality care. These are the hallmarks of universal health coverage.

Michael Moore is a fraud. He lives in luxury by income generated by producing nothing of real value while condemning those who live in luxury by income that generates the nation's real wealth.

There is no "supermajority" for socialized medicine. Poll after poll wants even Obamacare repealed.

No centrally controlled, gov't run system will EVER economize or exist without lowering efficiency or quality of care. The mechanics of gov't run things simply don't work that way.

I don't pretend to have any answers. I do THINK that a profit motive by stockholders is counterproductive to healthcare. It is putting the fox in charge of the chicken coop. Been dealing with this a lot lately. Pay premiums, get legit claims denied MULTIPLE times. I'm sure they hope i'll go away, but I'm a persistant stubborn cuss. The system is set up so that the more services paid for are denied the greater the profit.

I know many disagree, but these are my personal experiences. The system is flawed. I just feel that health and well-being trump money any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Don't know if it would work, but perhaps a not for profit system, like many hospitals operate on, could be viable. If I had the right answer, I'd never have to concern myself with the matter again.

Good grief, sjt. By your own value metrics the fact that he has made a lot of people a ton of money is intrinsic good.

We have currently bailed out to the tune of 13 trillion people who trade literally trade in nothing.

Please, sjt, take a step back from the ideology pipe.

Your premise on socialized medicine is wholly false, and irredeemably so. Every population sized model in the world testifies to this. USA highest per capita expenditure, but around 30th in overall health metrics.

In fact, it is the private system which has no incentive for efficiency.

This is also borne out in the real world as those systems which depend heavily on a private component (USA, Switzerland) spend the most on health care, but do not have top metrics.

Define 'good'. Long waits for basic procedures and denial of care deemed non essential? Very little fundimg gor research, and denying payment for innovative procedures and treatments? Then you are correct.
