Listening to Basilio. It’s over. I was wrong.

Problem is we have sanctions headed our way and there is NO way we hire Freeze in this scenario.

Is St. Mark Richt available??

Richt couldn't win at Miami...Plus he had a heart attack...He needs to stay retired and enjoy life...He is a good man.

Pruitt is done! But with them holding back this investigation until after recruit signing day and start of todays game
and coaches/players not there says a lot. They might get out of the buyout if it's true.

What have you seen that makes you think it's that bad?

Gus Malzahn is the right choice. He is proven and runs a clean program. I could envision a Rick Barnes benefit to hiring him.
Gus Malzahn would be an improvement and I think a good stabilizing force, but runs a clean program? Idk about that one, it's Auburn he's been coaching at

Jeremy Pruitt is 16-19 after three full seasons.
Derek Dooley was 15-21.
Butch Jones was 21-17.

Jones went 9-4 in his fourth season. No way Pruitt wins 9 games next year. It’s over. Go get Hugh Freeze or Joe Brady or Steve Sarkisian or Gus Malzahn. They’re all leaps and bounds better than Pruitt.
Jones went 9-4 his 3rd season and finished 14th in the final polls with a blowout of the 13th ranked team

Auburn gets a bad rap because they beat us in recruiting. Overall, he’s exceeded expectations at Auburn and I’d take him in a heartbeat. He’s a good football coach.

I really don't know what to expect, but if you made me pick a lane, I would guess that Pruitt will be back next year. I think there will be wholesale changes made among assistants, however.

While yes he was better than Pruitt....you're leaving out a lot of context out of that 3rd year.
Yeah. Coaching blunders cost us wins vs OU and Fla. Still, we were a hell of a lot better in 2015 than we are in 2020. Butch walked into a similarly shatty situation

I know what you’re saying, but both of his coordinators are very well respected coaches. I think the real problem is the HC and his “input”.

Pruitt is making MANY fans.......not care.

This HAS to be the end.

I love Tennessee football.........but I don’t worry about it, I want to watch it......but if I can’t.....it’s no big deal.

We’ve all put up with years of losing, and years of rebuilding.......and now many are at least somewhat......tuning out.

Something has to change!

I agree... I'm just not getting the vibe that a change is imminent. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

Basilio indicated an extensive UT compliance internal investigation. Since we are not Bama, uga, Auburn, or Florida, the NCAA will hammer us.
Saw the thread after replying. Isn't he saying it's a "hit job" though?
