This game was the best thing that could have happened to this team!

Very good post. No reason for any us to be freaking out already. It's football, it's a sport. Anything can happen.

I agree with adversity making a team stronger. The hype is over, the team will focus on the next game and repairing its flaws. It is just that simple.

After the next game, they will do the same thing, regardless of the VN expertise and advice.

I hope you are right. I do. I think most of the sky is falling crowd hopes you are right. Here is this the thing. Insulting them doesn't prove your point, it just shows you can be as juvenile as them. Secondly, if you are wrong and they are right you look incredibly naive and juvenile. Neither group can know for sure and clearly the spin is on to push the narrative one way or the other. I actually prefer to hear both arguments without name calling because there is truth on both sides.
Don't ruin your great post on your points with taking shots at each other. Have a healthy debate and move on.
That said, the game gave me pause, and I rewatch games for schemes but haven't played since high school so I'm only partially qualified to give analysis (just joking-I don't rewatch for schemes, I'm married with kids) still joking, we have a lot to clean up.
The reason I am not panicking is because I have never seen a Coach Jones team come out of the gate like that so I'm also staying positive. But please let's agree that they looked bad at points in the game, if you can't agree with that then .... witty juvenile response.

We got this, Go Vols!

I don't recall insulting anyone in my post, and if you found it to be juvenile then that sounds like I may have struck a nerve with you personally. I too, am married with a family, but what does that have to do with having a true understanding of the game? I played ball my whole life and grew up as the son of a coach. I went through the recruiting process as a player, as well as helping two younger brothers and now a son go through the process. I played college football and then spent two seasons as a graduate assistant. My point is that I have a unique perspective of the game that is shared by many that post here on volnation. While I feel that everyone has a right to their own opinion, I also love and support Volunteer football. I would never insult or belittle a player or a recruit in a public forum. I would never disrespect the hard work and effort that these kids have put forth by bashing them, because their performance wasn't up to some preset standard that I had in mind while I sat on my arse at home. I'm very passionate about this game that I dedicated much of my life to, so if you find anything I ever post as "juvenile" then you have the right to your opinion as well. But in my opinion, you were the one who made an attempt at insulting someone. Go Vols!
