How can we lose with a backup QB coming in here? We''re loaded and ready. Yeah they have a great defense and we won't just run up and down on them but I see a potential 21-17 win. The turds will be fired up for us but we just need to step up. We need perfect play calling, perfect QB play, defense and special teams keep playing like they are. They need to max out like this is the last game of the season. Forget the rest of the season. We want the turds!!! Now lets go!!!

My thoughts exactly. Still tryna figure out if he was being serious or not. Surely he hasn't forgotten the curse against Florida's backup QBs.

I actually jokingly commented Saturday, before Del Rio got injured, that I was confident in a Vols win this Saturday as long as we don't see UF's backup QB. :unsure:

Well we have lost to their backup qb the last few years, so why not?

Florida may be starting a 2nd string quarterback, but they have the mental edge over Tennessee with the winning streak and the only sport UT has been competitive in against Florida has been basketball...........

Bama just went to OleMiss and won....so did Georgia at Missouri, TAM at Auburn and SCar at Vandy. Happens all the time.

We lost to LSU in the S.E.C. championship game in the early 2000's and they played a back up.
We have injuries on defense.
We have not gotten our offensive line working together.
We hope we can win this game but Florida expects to win this game. Different attitudes.


We have a ton of problems.

Do you even UT history bro? Backup opposing QB = we're screwed, esp. against UF or LSU.

I'm beginning to think this game is "Tabor made." With next-man up, there are no excuses for the VOLS this year.
