Every time I log on, all that is every being posted is how bad the vols suck, the coaches need to be fired.... There is NOT ONE you could even sniff the field at UT if you tried to play. And I would love to know why half or you are sitting behind computer instead of coaching on or recruiting at the D1 level. I am all for discussing the problems of the team but this place is ridiculous.

This is the best Tennessee team and coaching staff I have ever seen.

i get being disappointed but frustrated over something you have no control over is whats causes the "problems" here.
leaving your feelings up to people you have no direct involvement with must be a rough way to live

Its my fault i havent bought a new hat this year. I couldnt decide on white or orange. Orange it is and we win vandy and the cats. Sorry for the delay.

I agree with the op this place is crazy. Some quality posters on here, but for the most part it's a bunch of chicken littles. Only winning will make it stop.

I am as frustrated as anyone, but you have to understand football enough to have realistic expectations. Remember all those Fulmer games where somehow we were able to pull out a win by a field goal or something weird happening? Well, those were teams stacked with juniors and seniors that were ready to play. Those kinds of wins aren't going to come to a team this young. It is hard to watch, but it is part of rebuilding the program.
Just realize it and support these guys for the next 3 years and see what happens when they are all grown up!

I don't act, write or direct movies. But I sure can see and call out a bad movie when I see it. The vols are a very bad movie. By the way thanks for tryin Mr. Low expectations and no accountablity. Try again...next comes you are not a true fan if you criticize the team. Bull all bull, I am critical of the team I support. I have expectations. The coach that we thought should all go, lost to Arky once. One freaking time and beat them 10 times. Truth hurts, but don't let that get in the way of your low expectation facts.

Actually not true, I was offered a football scholarship by Coach Fulmer himself but went to UNC for the academics and played for Mack Brown. I can tell you one thing...this team displays no fundamentals and is sorely lacking in play calling. You have to wonder just how physical this team practices. I know when I went to see UT on a visit and got to watch practice, it was literally war. I'm thinking maybe this staff is just not teaching that physical aggressive style that Coach Fulmer used. I just dont know...this team just does not look very good and not really well coached.

Everybody loves a winner, and we all find the consistent loosing heartbreaking. But, what people might be satisfied to see is some sort of progression. At this point, the entire team and staff look like they're using each game as a scrimmage - no heart, or at the very least a lack of drive.

I just hope that with their performance being so bad this year, it doesn't get in their heads for next year. My second fear is that this will begin to affect recruiting as there's a serious lack of development present.
