Where even on day 1 the husband and wife both aren't excited about it.

You've seen these before. The wife has two kids under 7 and 'just really needs some help'. She can't pay her bills since the divorce a couple years ago and
credit card debt is mounting. Even though she is hitting 30 and looks 35, she still has something of a cute body to get some dude to marry her. But it's a downgrade for her in the sense that she doesn't get that tingle physically from him but seems him more as an s provider beta bux type.

Meanwhile the guy is sorta homely and has gone through periods over these last 5 years where he has met incel criteria, so he's at least happy to be about to get regular sex. Or he thinks so. But he can tell she's kinda bitchy and she still pines for one of her exes, which brings him down. He also worries she is just marrying her so she will have a decent house.

It's their wedding night and already the sex and passion is stale.

The point is those marriages don't work. If our fan base is already going into this match with a tired roll of the eyes and skepticism, things could get REAL UGLY and REAL QUICK. I don't feel there is going to be much of a honeymoon period here. And honestly I think his personality may make that worse; he comes across as something of a dour ******* which isn't going to endear him to fans and alumni early on when they arent very good.

The fans and alumni are likely to have resentment towards JH as they think "who the hell does this ahole who his group of five program werent even sad to see go think he is?" And JH will think "why do these people expect more?"......and they both may have those resentments a lot earlier on than usual.

Just a feeling- it seems to have that feeling where we aren't exactly rolling out the red carpet.

Another thing that bothers me is Danny White's attitude about the reaction to this hire. He clearly wasn't prepared for the lukewarm reaction and the "wtf did we even need to hire and pay you for if this is what you could do?" attitude amongst some towards him. Because he admonished some fans and media, telling them that some are doing well but some need to straighten out(or some phrase to indicate displeasure with how they percieve the hire). Ummm Danny, your job here is not to be the thought police for our fans/alumni and media covering the team. That came across as very entitled and innapropriate....

I'm mostly ok with the hire, but it goes towards what I said a week ago how some fans are going to be dissapointed if they believe the hiring of White really mattered. ADs don't win games. They have administrative value of course and they play a large role in picking the coach, but in terms of attracting candidates who otherwise wouldn't be interested.....no, that doesn't happen. His attitude to me today just came off as innapropriate....

Well put! Ain't nobody really happy with all this. Send them all back to Disney! Hire a coach who wants to be here for reasons apart from the simple cash. Yes, we have read of these candidates.

So we send both husband and wife to individual therapy and then throw in couples counseling to boot.

For those uncomfortable with feelings and deep introspection, we could go the route of a little plastic surgery for the wife and Low T Clinic referral for the husband. Give 'em a couple of self-help books, but the kids need to go live with their grandparents.

This sounds like something you should talk to your therapist about.
