This Election is Over, Hillary Will Win

I have "college educated" friends that don't make dick, others that do well. Hell, i have friends that never went to college and some make more than those "college educated" friends. I have one friend that quit HS and makes more than all of them.

As do I. I'll give you that some degrees aren't very useful once you attain them but with my arguments earlier, if someone wants to be a doctor or engineer but can't afford to go to school for those degrees...it's not right that they can't go because of money.

As the judge from Caddyshack would say, "the world needs ditch diggers too."

Be interesting to see how ESL students and subsequent spending has impacted our ability to educate our youth. In GA if you're teaching elementary ed you best be fluent in Spanish because you will have classes full of them. We are spending a lot of time money and resources getting these kids up to speed. But of course illegal immigration has no downside so steady as she goes.

Friend's wife went to Vandy and she works for children's services, late 30's and still paying off loans.

Life's not fair, they have to work harder but they can go if they really want to.

If your are smart enough to be an engineer or doctor and that's what you want to do you would be an idiot to not find loans or scholarships. Best return on investment you'll ever see. Student loans are like any other sort of loan. Whatever you're needing the money for either needs to provide a utility or a return on investment. Loans are not for vacations or introspection.

I think your example is off. If high school kids show an aptitude for rigorous education, they will have the best grades in school as well as exemplary SATs/ACTs. State and private schools compete aggressively for these kids. Scholarships, work study, flexible scheduling, etc are all on the table. The kids you're describing can literally have their choice of institution.

I know this. I took out quite a few loans to pay for my degree and will be paying on them for quite a while. I'm just stating that it IS possible for someone who wants to go to college to not be able to qualify for help. I've seen it happen.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone say life isn't fair and then turn around and complain about something they don't like (especially when it comes to politics)

Politics are fair game in the *****ing world.

Absolutely true, they may have to go the CC route, take time off for work, join the military ext but a college degree isn't out of reach for many people willing to work for one.

Military isn't for everyone. I'm not saying people should free load.

No it's not but neither is college. It basically boils down to if there is a will they will find a way. Unless you have made some really bad decisions college isn't out of reach.

Funny thing is if they can't afford it..it will be free. Weird right? Gubmint grants..deeeeeer great!

Do you live in some libtardian "paradise" under a rock?

I have never heard of a situation where someone is capable of achieving a difficult degree but cannot obtain help.

I'd rather try to have healthcare for everyone and free or at the very lest much cheaper college tuition for people in this country than a stupid wall that won't help with illegal immigration at all. Besides, Sanders would have an easier time working with both parties than Trump would, considering many in the GOP can't stand him). I don't think many Sanders supporters thought healthcare and college would be "free" but it's a better place to start because if you can meet somewhere in the middle, then it's still a hell of a lot better than what we have now.

LOL. You people act like every promise a presidential candidate makes will come to fruition. Sanders plan for healthcare and free college tuition would have failed, badly. Until the people who really run this country want change, it will never happen.

Every candidate panders and says things they have zero chance at accomplishing. They know that the vast majority of the American people are obedient sheep who fear the government so much that they will never question anything. Trump, Hilary, Johnson, Sanders. They are all puppets.

This is true. Getting loans isn't difficult. Which is probably a big part of the problem to be honest. Banks don't loan you money to buy a ****ty house that's over priced. Why do they do it for college degrees?

1000% correct

Unless you are an undocumented immigrant. Then the government wil, do everything it can to pay for your schooling. Liberal America at its best.

Because you can't default?

I'll be blunt. This is a mostly conservative forum and is therefore rife with low functioning mouth breathers that support Trump. So this is for you. The election is over and Hillary will win. The problem for Trump is that demographics are not his friend. Hispanics are not going to suddenly warm up to trump. Try as he may he's not going to peel off any significant portion of the Black vote. The gender gap favors Hillary. Asians voted for Obama 76% to 23% for Romney in 2012. However Trump IS expected to get the lions share of high turnout white male vote which won't be enough. He will also get 98-99% of the Klan and Skinhead vote, so you can take comfort in that.

The debates will be a big event but won't matter much. What little changing of minds that occur will go both ways. The conservative media will tout Trump. Likewise for Hillary and the Liberal media. But, the political media has never had less influence over the electorate. Even low information voters know what's what and who's who nowadays. The polls? Don't pay any attention to them. It's demographics, demographics, demographics.

So suck it up guys. Demographics defeated McCain in '08 and Romney in '12. And the numbers have only grown in Liberals favor since. Sorry, but you right wingers have just excluded too many people for too long and it's coming back to bite you in the ass.

LOL got any stock tips?
