Pete Fiutak, CFN
Q: Which program is getting no attention today, but will by the end of September?
A: Am I too much of a wuss if I take Georgia? I have a gnawing feeling that Mark Richt has the type of team good enough to hold Oklahoma State in check in the season opener, beat South Carolina, Arkansas and Arizona State to be a strong 4-0 at the end of September and be ranked fifth in the nation going into the LSU showdown. But making an end-of-September call isn't just about taking a big-time team; it's about finding the good team with the right schedule to get people buzzing. Vanderbilt of last year would be the prototype.
Alrighty, Pete Fiutak is smoking crack, this is also the same guy that says Lane Kiffin is going to only win 3 games this year. Let's back that up Fiutak, UGA is going to be a failure this year and Mark Richt is going to be on the hotseat I believe, the UGA schedule and the results below:
@ OK State- Loss, The Stillwater Crowd Is Going To Be too hostile for this Georgia team, they can talk the talk, but OK State will beat them down.
Vs South Carolina-Alright, South Carolina has been sorta falling every year so UGA wins this one without a doubt.
@ Arkansas- Dawgs win in a close one
Vs Arizona State- Dawgs win again, just because Arizona State isn't very good
VS LSU-LSU wins in a blowout, too fast and too strong for UGA
@ Vols-Can you say another Knoxville blowout as a couple years ago, they come in over confident and get hit in the mouth
@ Vandy-Dawgs win by 7, Vandy keeps it interesting and then fails like always
@ Florida-Gators crush em once again, UGA can't get over the mind games when it comes to Florida
VS Tennessee Tech- Dawgs win but not as big as expected, just one of them dragged on homecoming games
Vs Auburn- Tigers steal one on a late field goal to keep this rivalry rich
Vs Kentucky- Dawgs blow out the expected failing Wildcats
@ Georgie Tech-Jackets sting the Dawgs for the second year in a row, Georgia Tech is steadily getting better and better especially not losing but a handful of kids
Final Results
SEC RECORD (4-4)
Overall Record (6-6)
