This Class So Far

He has shown some potential...as a freshman. I think he was a hit. Was the Southern Miss fumble the one where he was blown up before he ever got the ball? Or....is that the one where he fumbled along the sideline (maybe I'm remembering incorrectly)?

Calling Creer "A Hit" at this point is absolutely ridiculous. Perhaps players should be required to actually perform consistently at a high level ON THE FIELD IN AN ACTUAL GAME before being labeled "A Hit".

Campbell and Maples are probably right about the same level right now in terms of predicting their future at WR. I think Maples did a bit more in th O&W game. Personally, I think Maples is faster and has better hands than Campbell. But at this point I dont know if either one of them will ever crack the WR rotation without a rash of injuries above them on the depth chart.

And the guy that wrote that said one more year and Berry will be a 1st round NFL draft pick. Is he Maurice Clarrett? You have to play three years.

why does the source matter? Its not like its a news story of anything
Because if you're going to post part of something, I'd like to see the whole thing and know who the author is.
The source always matters.

how can you call any 3 star a "whiff"? They're a whiff by definition...if they pan out that's just BONUS for the team.

I, personally, hate when we sign local (often mediocre) players very early in the signing period. I know there are certain benefits to signing local players, but it irks me when we are struggling at the end of the signing period trying to find room for 4 star players.
Butt we must, right? We are "TENNESSEE" if we overlook our local "talent" then we will lose those easy pickens, right?

Don't even begin to say the words "Cottam", Don hated Memphis State as much as I did/do. He passed that legacy of hate along genetically, thanks be to Our Lord.:good!:
