So my girlfriend and I who i've been dating for around 2 years were watching the Heisman presentation tonight. I was explaining to her how Bama has never had a winner and she asked if TN has ever had one. I began to explain to her Peyton Manning v. Charles Woodson.

She then looked at me and said, "Oh, Peyton Manning went to Tennessee?"

I just looked at her and immediately proceeded to walk to the fridge and crack open a beer.

My best advice....skip the fridge and invest in a good liquor cabinet.

My wife lives and breaths UT Football. One of the first things I asked her was did she like Football. Her answer was, "If it has anything to do with UT Football, I do". On top of that, she's an excellent cook.

If you thought Woodson deserved it over Manning, you are just a hater. A lot of us thought Ingram deserved it, even though he was a Bama player. Some of us arent blind homers.

I personally think Ingram deserved the award and my congrats go out to him but there is a day of reckoning coming when haters like you will cower and shiver in hopelessness when Peyton Manning decides to retire from the weekly N.F.L. grind and comes home as offensive coordinator of the Vols and sends the rest of you wanna-be's home cryin' to your momma's in her double-wide. His insight and brilliance of the offensive schemes can't be matched by anyone @ the college level........Go Vols..........

My ex was a bama fan,and the one I have now is a auburn fan and both know more about Tennessee football than your g/f lol

I have a feeling alcohol will often come in handy in this relationship...especially during football season...
