Those of us un/fortunate enough to have visited the Krystal restaurant at the mouth of Bourbon Street in New Orleans know it's a place where the occasionally odd, bizarre, or criminal events take place. We don't know which of these this incident is, if not all three. That's especially given that some people are claiming the victim in this is now dead, making the "This guy's life is over" line uttered in the video creepy. (We're trying to get in touch with New Orleans police. We'll update if we hear from them.) Deadspin.com

Update:

The police have identified the tea bagger, but haven't made an arrest. Seen it on the news this morning! Said he will be charged with sexual assault..

RUSSELL COUNTY, AL (WTVM/WBRC) – A Phenix City man is a person of interest in a bizarre sexual battery case after shocking video emerged online of a passed out LSU fan. In the video, is an Alabama fan placing his genitals on an unconscious LSU fan.

The Russell County Sheriff's Office says the person of interest is headed to New Orleans, LA.

Authorities say he left Phenix City with his attorney around 3 p.m. EST Thursday, but no warrants have been issued for his arrest at this time.

Earlier this week, the New Orleans Police Department issued an alert saying it is actively seeking an Alabama fan seen in online video exposing himself and simulating a sex act atop a passed-out LSU fan. The incident happened at the Krystal Burger located at 116 Bourbon Street in New Orleans last Monday night.

Investigators add the Alabama fan is fully cooperating with police.

The Alabama fan worked at Hibbett Sports in Phenix City, Alabama, but he was terminated Wednesday.

"After we looked into it and investigated the matter, we made the decision to terminate this person's employment with the company," said Scott Myers with Hibbett Sports.

As regards the incident involving the Alabama fan, Myers simply said, "It doesn't represent anything about our company."

Myers would not say what the man's position was with the company or how long he had been employed. He says they were first made aware of the video Wednesday and fired him.

I don't know how the 32 yr old is going to break it to his mom that he is out of the shoe dept at Hibbets
