Heupel has won an Orange Bowl, has a conference title, and has a better SEC record and overall winning pct. and didn't have to cheat with a younger subordinate then lie about it.

There's a reason Petrino couldn't get an actual HC job at a real school again to save his life...

Not my point. You said Petrino hasn’t done anything Heupel hasn’t done, when in fact, he has, which I pointed out. Your statement was a lie.

He was on the way of being fired at Mizzou State before he left in a hurry
He also will be fired as interim HC again at Arkansas so add that one too...

He resigned mid-season in Atlanta to take the Arkansas job. He wasn’t fired.

LOL he was about to be fired and told Arthur Blank he would be back with a plan and not to fire him, then left two days later...he lost that team much like he did at Louisville the 2nd time after he blamed them for why he was 2-8, players don't respect or trust him. He's a liar and will never land an actual HC job again

He's like the anti-Heupel

You could play this game forever.

Petrino took the ATL job thinking Vick would be there and that was when he was arrested for all that dogfighting stuff. They also had traded Schaub before all this. He had Uncle Rico at QB.

Guy thinks he’s a decent coach. He didn’t say husband of the year. Who cares?

He's not a decent coach, he was 17-15 in the SEC, his players at FOUR schools and an NFL franchise all say the same things about him...3 ADs and an owner say the same things about him...

He's a liar and scumbag who hasn't won anything, he will never be a HC again somewhere that matters....

and as we will see Saturday, he couldn't hold Heupel's jock strap

I think Petrino is past his prime at this point and everyone knows he’s an ******* but there are definitely some inaccuracies in this thread. Sure his SEC record on the surface doesn’t look spectacular but his first time around at Arkansas he improved every year from 5 to 8, 10 and 11 wins. He was 21-5 his last two years there.

He also wasn’t fired from UNLV (left for the OC job at A&M) or Missouri State (he had two playoff appearances there). The way he left the Falcons was awful but IIRC at the time Arthur Blank wouldn’t let him address the team and Arkansas told him he had to accept right then and there or they were going to move on to offering Lane Kiffin from the Raiders after the 2007 season (ironically one year before he ended up at Tennessee). Lane has said he punched a hole in his office wall once he learned it was going to Petrino lol

Travis Williams, the DC who Petrino just fired, was actually a LB on that Falcons team at the time which probably made things awkward for them from the start.
