Since when has the 3rd Saturday of October become a bye week? For me, at least, it was the highlight of the College Football season. Why did they ruin a proud tradition of both UT and 'Bama?

What do you all think?

yeah very rarely has it been on its PROPER saturday. SEC scheduling is retarded. Not just for football though. its dumb our basketball team has a road game thursday at LSU then has to to play South carolina saturday. Meanwhile the Cocks have no midweek game. hmmmm.

Seems like when they split the conference into two divisions it really messed up scheduling/bye weeks....

Ever since Tn. and every other team in the SEC has to have a bye week before they play BAMA. The only team this year that doesn't have a bye week before the BAMA game is Arkansas.

The SEC, NCAA, and everyone hates UT haha...I welcome the challenge of playing everyone our schedule has to offer as fresh as they can be. It's been this way for at least 5 years now so why stop now...bring it on RTR!

True, but 16 teams with open dates compared to Fl. with 4 wihich is the closest to Bama seems a little much.

I remember two years ago I think? that most of the upper end SEC teams UT played had bye weeks or gimme games the week before they played UT. It happens get over it. I'm pretty sure that is what bama fans said to us.
