Did bowl projections tonight. Of course we were not in. After the Auburn win I thought we could get a bowl. The loss to SC hurt. And wtf was last week. I honestly think Kentucky runs it down our throat. Ehhhh it is what it is. I still hope. Helton needs to throw It down the field if the run game isn’t there. Go Vols.

I figured we'd win 3 games before the Auburn game. Afterwards I thought we'd win 4 games because I remembered all the games before that.

Helton did throw it down the field a few times during the SC game. It doesn't work against teams that actually turn around to look for the ball (Auburn did not) because we tend to throw into coverage.

I pretty much agree, sadly. I see us maybe pulling off one win out of our last three and going 5-7. Still hoping for a miracle, tho.

Auburn raised our collective expectations imo. Gave us hope for the rest of the games sans Bama which we really didn’t have before. That’s not a bad thing but it’s still disappointing in the end.

it will not be able to run on Uk...maybe I'm will fumble six times deep in their own side of the field....

I was at 3-9 preseason.

Auburn had me wondering if we’d turned a corner and could go bowling. But after 7 offensive points on Charlotte I think I’m back down to 4-8.

If I was a gambler, I'd bet the farm on 4-8. Hope I'm wrong.

The sad thing is if were to win out, the best we could do is finished tied with South Carolina or Florida for 4th in the East. Sigh! Let that sink in.

On a positive note, we have a basketball team that has "Elite 8" potential.

Why? Odds are against 4-8. Even if you think we are only 30% to win each game, that's a 66% chance to win at least 1 game.

Hell, I think we are 50/50 vs Vandy alone. Odds are very good we win at least 1 more.

Hey man you need to quit living in the past and start living in the future. It is much brighter. I don't expect a bowl either but maybe I will be surprised.
