I haven't proposed yet, and I'm pretty sure that this girl is the "one". But, I've put a lot of thought into it, and wondering If she says yes, should I look into signing a prenup?

Just wondering if anyone here that is married and has signed one with their spouse?

How old are you? Do you own anything? What is your net worth? If just your average Joe, then no. If you got cash, consider it

If you're serious, I have advice. If this post is for fun, that's cool too.

if you're looking for advice on the internet, you're probably not ready to get married

If she says no it is crushing.... you maybe more mentally tough than me but I hope it works out for you my friend.

Just some advice, "the one" will never entertain a pre-nup. She will be very offended when you ask. I speak from experience.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but to me a pre-nup screams that you don't trust the person you think you want to spend the rest of your life with. It dooms the marriage from the start IMO.

Different story if you're wealthy though.

Think on it another 2 years and see how things go if your meant to spend eternity together, no need to rush things.

This. Prenup if you are loaded and dont trust the broad. If that's the case why marry in the first place? Bang her and look for the real Mrs right in the mean time.

If you really think you need to consider a prenup, you're better off talking to a lawyer.

And def before you start talking about a prenup.

In 99% of scenarios a prenup is unneccesary

If you know, you know.

If shes quote "the one" do it and dont look back. Everyone finds lust very few find real, true love. Shes the one a prenuptial agreement shouldnt ever come into play unless your a Colombian drug lord worth billions. Marriage is a sacred event in life and should be taken seriously not something that one should do on a whim.

dead serious.

and still have been thinking about it. And just going off of my friend's relationships, and divorces. I am leaning towards getting one, but still not sure.

I don't think she would want to marry for money, but lets just say I wouldn't want to give away all my money either.

You don't need to get married. You are already thinking me and mine.
