Including season tickets, they have sold less than 80,000 for Thursday night. Bowling Green only claimed about 1000. I personally know at least 10 season ticket holders that aren’t using their tickets. 70,000 is going to be a tough number to crack, in my opinion.

When they mark tickets down to $19 a week or two before kickoff that tells you alot. Gonna be a lot of empty seats.

OP hit it on the head. There's a lot of factors at work here, the 2 biggest being covid and the fact that we've been irrelevant for so many years. Hope I'm wrong. But I don't know that they could give the rest of the tickets away and it be full.

I honestly don't think the Thursday night game is all that big of a deal if you take out the 2 above items. I was there for App State and IIRC It was a close to full stadium that night.

I doubt weather would hurt anything for Thursday. The Ida stuff is supposed to blow through by tomorrow night and right now there's only a 3% chance of rain. Plus, it's not gonna be hot as hell. Could change, but I hope not.
