Last year against Bama we were giving them 10 yrds off the ball and dropping 3 on the snap. We all know what happened. Will Chavis see the erroe of his ways this year and play some press or at least close coverage?

What did you see from our corners against UCLA and UGA that makes you think they'll change anything?

We also weren't getting any pressure on wilson. You can make any average qb look like montana when they have all day to find someone.

Chavis was in the box on Saturday. He must have seen how stupid that soft zone was in the first half, because they did less of it in the second (and good things happened). Heard Hyams this morning in Nashville and he said that Chavis will be in the box again this Saturday. I just hope he doesn't wait to see how bad it is against Alabama before he makes a change.

Makes me wonder why he hasn't been up there to see what everyone else has been seeing the last 8 years.

Its possible he changes. Lets just hope we dont get ahead before the 4th quarter.(not that I am overly concerned about that) Otherwise it will be the prevent for sure.

He will play the soft zone coverage and Julio Jones will have 150 yards receiving. If he doesn't then maybe we can hang around for a little while

What defense was UT in when the MSU qb ran about 60 yards(including sideline-sideline) on the 3rd and 20?

Chavis has been coaching a lot longer than I have.

Judging by the way Massequoi (SP?) from Georgia was running free deep in our secondary, any chance soft coverage is still best for our DBs?

I mean, I have as big a man-crush as anyone on EB, but I really haven't liked the way our secondary as a whole covers receivers.

Could be he knows something we don't know.

Yes he will and we will get burned bad.

If by some chance we are ahead in the second half I'd bet my house we will go to the mustang or we loose defense. CPF never keeps his foot on another teams neck when we are ahead he always goes to the "play not to loose" mindset and we usually end up loosing.
