1. S&C coach with high level experience must be hired.
2. QB coach
3. Butch is the coach and the player lead team stuff is stupid.
4. There's a reason we've had 12 players leave the team, what's the reason? Where would our roster be if we had normal attrition numbers? This has to be addressed.
5. No more great recruiter talk when 75% of the four and five star players are underperforming or not on the roster anymore.
6. Butch Jones offense sucks. The success of the offense has come when Dobbs is off script and winging it. There must be an offensive schematic change or we need to find a different coach.

Also, don't forget it takes 6-7 years to rebuild a program unless your Saban, Harbaugh, Meyer, Petersen, Petrino...McElwain-still early for him

I actually like #3. I don't mind a player led team. BUT when everything is crumbling around you, you have to assume the lead as a HC. And he hasn't done that. He's pointed to injuries, transfers, and lack of on field leadership. Own the ****, Butch.

What you mean to say is that a good coach puts the team and the players in a position to succeed. A poor coach is stubborn and position oriented.

Couldn't disagree with point 3 more! Player-led teams are historically the most successful. They hold each other accountable at times when the coaches can't or aren't there to. I think what you really mean is no longer letting the "inmates run the asylum." To that I DO agree with.

Or don't forget about decision making abilities... Kicking a 58 yard FG, against Bama quitting on team kicking FG when your down 2 tds in 3rd and several times kicking FG or punting with 4th and short with ball in opponents territory.

I agree. I tell my boys "I'm not your friend, I'm your Dad", and I get a "Number #1 Dad" mug almost every year! Seriously, though, I think a coach should be more a drill sergeant than a big brother. The brother thing gives up too much respect. I remember being scared to death of my basic training drill sergeant, but, I would have followed him into battle. He solidified his dominance quickly and earned the respect and buy-in from the whole platoon. Maybe it won't work with snowflakes, but, Saban and Kiffin don't impress me as big brother types.

1. Hire a chancellor
2. Hire a AD
3. Evaluate the current staff
4. Give Butch Options for replacements
5. Approve Hires
6. Evaluate at the end of the following season
7. Fire Butch if things don't change for the better

100% INNACCURATE. Belichek runs the Patriots. He is on top of the mountain and under his authority, authority is given to certain players to "police" and lead other teammates. But never, is the team player led. Just ask Jamie Collins who is off to spend the winter in Cleveland.

When you say player lead team you think Al Wilson. We don't have an Al Wilson on the roster that I'm aware of. The Coach has to be the ultimate authority. Player leadership is the goal, when it's going sideways and none of your leaders are on the field I'd expect a head coach to take the leadership role. Of course we haven't had leadership at our university in almost a decade.

It only works if your teams can do it. Butch Jones is not the type of coach who can do it, and he's proven it routinely since he's been in a real conference.

Let's skip 1-6 because that'll just end up with where we are at now, and just fire Botch.

If we would nut up and hire someone like Petrino or a top notch coach I'd be for that. We had No AD and zero leadership. We'd hire a firm and win the press conference again because in hindsight that's what our administration is worried about. (See Rick Barnes).
