I am a fan of self-check out lanes and if you use the 12 or less lanes then the register should stop after you have scanned 12 items and not be allowed to scan anymore so you have to go to another lane and finish scanning cause you should have never been there in the first place. I was behind one of those customers yesterday and she must have had 30 or more things in her cart luckily for her I was thirsty and went to look for a drink and found an open register and bam I was done and of course as I was leavin that customer was still at the 12 or less checkout lanes. I just dont understand people at times they sure make it hard for the rest of us. just venting.

People who illegally park at the curb because they are "just running in for something" when there are plenty of parking spots available.

The "I love my wife" bumper stickers. Can't see one of those without thinking of the Chris Rock line - "what you want a cookie".

Along the lines of grocery store/any kind of store checkout lines... when a place like Wal-Mart has roughly 25 lanes available, yet only have about 10 open. All of which that are about 8 people deep.

that makes me so freaking angry. Not to mention all the employees just standing around staring at you like you are stupid or something.

That is exactly why I haven't set foot in a Best Buy since Christmas of 2005.

you cant park on the curb at my grocery store nowhere to park but people stop to drop off their kids to run in and grab whatever and your stuck behind them cause they wont make their kids walk from a parked spot.

People how ride in the left lane doing less than the posted limit. Move grandma!

People who park in handicapped spaces. I have had a handi tag twice in my life and now understand how important they are.

Drivers who do not stop and pull over for emergency vehicles.

The worst sound I can ever hear is someone clipping their nails :banghead: It makes me shudder just to think about.

The Farm Fresh grocery store here guarantees all lanes will be open between 4-7pm everyday. Makes for a very fast exit and they get more business because of it.

It's especially mind-crippling when all you're purchasing is a pack of gum.

People who go 40-45 max going down an on-ramp to the interstate and then stop at the end if there is a vehicle coming. You have the right of way, there is a reason there are no stop or yield signs on on-ramps.

Fat people/old people that can walk that park in handicapped parking.

People that don't take the extra 2 minutes to move their shopping buggies into the collection holders in the parking lot. Instead, they unload their groceries and just leave the buggies right where they are and block parking spaces. Ive had to get out of my car to move a buggie out of the way too many times to count.

People on public assistance that are able to use food stamps to by better food than I can, and then hold up the checkout line.

Illegal aliens on public assistance.

Bonus cards (just give me the discount price and stop asking me if I have a bonus card because I don't).

Slow drivers in the left hand lane

Interesting note:

Notice the most common things that annoy us are things that occur either while we are in the supermarket or driving (or in my case, times when the car and supermarket are involved)...

that is one of my top 5 favorite things about living here in Hampton Roads. there's nothing like being in a grocery store at 5:30pm and getting through the checkout in less than 2 minutes.

Or a DVD at Wal-Mart. They are cheap which is good then by the time you stand in line you've been in there for 30 mins. when it shoud have taken 15.
