Some of these, I expected to see, but didn't.

-- I figured we'd use the screen pass to RBs to work as part of our running game.
-- I'd like to see them pitch it to Que Watson going the other way out of the same play and formation that CeePee had the TD run. Once you run that, the next time Rivera will likely be uncovered in the middle for about 30 yards.
-- I think Neal ran way better than he is getting credit for. He had several really good runs...and several really bad ones. He needs to not break it outside.
-- I expect to see more trapping and pulling by our O Line. Watch Lane's long run and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
-- I want to see more of Brewer playing that safety/LB hybrid position.
-- I really think we could pitch some sweeps to Que Watson. Who is going to beat him to the corner?

I don't care how or what they do. Just beat Florida and go from there.:peace2:

I like where your coming from but in this game I don't think the screens would have been that effective. NC State seemed to play alot of zone and stay in position with their front seven. Which is probably why Neal couldn't get outside often.

I got one...what happened to the "over the top" play on goaline situations?

Jay Graham has to remember it.

I was wondering the same. We've got some real jumpers from what I saw from celebrations. That'll keep Bray from puttin that valuable arm at risk.

I use to love the play. Little Man Stewart done it better than anyone but we used it on short yardage and goal line for years. Littly Man would get 4 yards everytime going over the top. Jay was good at it also.:good!:

actually its a penalty (offensive players cant aid another player advance the ball) but not if you are SC #1 and need a TD at ND to win!

Even if they call it back, Thread title was things I'd like to see, & I know I would like to see it.

Other than the injury concern, who better than Justin Hunter to go over the top on the short yardage play? That cat could jump the whole line.
