Football IQ time people. Butch won games on the basis of having an amazing amount of generational athletic talent, not out of any coaching he did. Dobbs, Kamara, Hurd, Evan Berry, Cam Sutton? Those guys won games *in spite of* Botch, not because of him. Watching any Botch coached games that went down to the wire, did you have any confidence? I didn't. Watching Pruitt's teams? Goal line stands to preserve the win? Botch's teams never would have accomplished that. Any wins by Botch I attribute to the players. Wins by Pruitt I attribute to the players as well as the coaches.
I get it, last season and early this season, JG was struggling. I think he was still learning the offense. But his turnaround has been nothing short of what Kiffen did with Crompton. JG is playing lights out, the offense looks good, the defense looks good, and this team has a puncher's chance against anyone.
