I'm mad at myself, for getting upset at ingles. I wasn't necessarily ugly to either person, just blunt, but should've bit my tongue. I was in line for a couple of subs for Tiffany and my daughter, and the lady was from the start hateful, telling me I'd have to wait. Fine, I understand being busy. I stand there 10 minutes while she's stocking stuff, and there's 2 more lines at the deli. One for subs, one for Chinese, and one for the hot plates. There was a lady who had been getting a hot plate, being waited on by someone else. She gets her plate, then comes over beside me. We both stand there another 5 minutes, and the worker finally steps back up, and asks what do you want. The lady customer immediately starts ordering, and I simply told the worker I needed mine. The lady shoper says, "well I was being waited on over there, so I was just gonna finish ". I nicely told her there's 2 different lines, and I'd been waiting in this one over 10 minutes, and she just backed away reluctantly. The worker then adks about my order, and I began telling her. She then asked if I wanted it toasted, and I replied yes, to which she says, "of course you do". I was already irked, but I told her I needed another sub, and she could take thst order while we wait for the toaster. She then threw her hands up, and said, "good grief, what other sub do you need". I'd had enough, and told her if you was such a problem, I'd go somewhere else, and I started walking off. She started yelling, "sir I'm sorry, it's not a problem", but I just left. I hate I got upset, but.... if you're gonna work in customer service, you shouldn't be that upset to have to wait on a customer. Also, if I'm choosing to spend my money somewhere for a service, I'm not gonna stand there and be treated that way. I wish I hadn't said anything to either, and just left, but I was trying to get everything at one stop. Maybe I was being a Karen by saying that, and walking away, but you can't jump line, or treat people that way.
