Things I'm mad about today

I left paradise today and had to stop in fawking GA. I was watching the temps slowly go down. Lost 43 degrees already. Depressed but going to Cracker Barrel. Haven’t had country food in a minute
I've got homemade vegetable beef soup, you could've had that! Be sure to say dawgs suck anywhere you stop in Georgia!😄

I love me some Cracker Barrel. The atmosphere and errythang. I miss going to the one in Franklin KY. It was the closest one to my house back when I lived in TN.

I’m just gonna leave this here, on occasion, I work with my housekeeping department to see what they experience. Have a resident that is only one year older than me, history of TIA’s, low income. Can’t verbally express her wants or anything. Two weeks ago, my lead housekeeper and I cleaned and organized her room, she had been sleeping on a thin mattress and the support people had stored her personal stuff between her mattress and bed springs. I won’t go into detail, but heartbreaking. She was so thankful afterwards. This morning, my lead housekeeper sent me pictures of her room. I went to help her. She had soiled a lot of her clothes and all her bedding (soiled) was stripped off and thrown in her closet. She has been sleeping on a soaked mattress with no bedding and we had to take everything to be washed again. It breaks my heart. My boss was furious when I showed her.

That would irk me. Is it an assisted living facility you're at? You may have said, but I can't remember.

Who are the “support people”? Her own family/ friends, or your fellow employees?

Does your AL facility have higher levels of care, and does she need it/ can afford it?

We are soooo grateful for the staff at our moms’ AL facility. I truly don’t know how they can continue to be so kind. Not just non-abusive, but genuinely kind.

We tried to warn ya....😇
I know... either this or EarthLink. Same sheit.
Stopped by Best Buy and picked up a WiFi extender... will install tomorrow. Then it will be a claymore that will put an end to this crap. I feel like I am in the dial up days again. Those never made me mad because it was the state of the art back then.

Employees. Don’t get me wrong, we have a lot of caring employees, but there always seems to be a small few that are there for a paycheck. As far as level of care, that was the first thing I asked about the first time this happened. She too low income. I did get the opportunity to tell the staff that it shouldn’t matter what level of care they are, have some damn human compassion and I better not see this again.
