Things I'm mad about today

are you still going to 2nd shift ?

Not sure. It's not a have to decide right now thing, but if he mentions it again I probably will. A guy at church is kin to our HR guy st work, and he told me yesterday "on the down low" that they're aiming for going back to the old schedule by the first of the year. I hope that happens.

Just be glad you don't live in London, Paris or the Phillipines!
Aside from 1 very small area (1 island out of 7,100 in the country), the Philippines is a wonderful country. Don't listen to everything the media tells you.

I have a preacher friend who does missionary work over there. I'm not sure what part, but he really likes it. It's kind of a low poverty place, but he says the people are great. We donate a little every month to help him.

Indeed. Just spent a week there and plan to go back for longer. Some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. They recognize and greatly appreciate the support America has shown them over the years. Of course all you'll ever hear about in the media is Duerte's war on drugs and Islamic extremism. Like anything, the Philippines is so much more than that.

I'm mad that I was busting rivets off a part of a machine, and the plastic broke, hit my forehead, and made a blood blister.
