Things I'm mad about today

Just had a great breakfast and excellent service at Cracker Barrel and then the girl who rang us up acted in a totally unprofessional manner and soured the whole experience.

Use the receipt and fill out an online complaint -- they will send a gift card or cert for 2 free meals -- at least they did for me when I complained about a old grouchy waitresses attitude

Oh Lawdz. Haha, I spend two weeks researching and slaving trying to get chow chow perfected and nobody gives a shat. Windy posts a recipe for Mac and cheese and you fawkers are losing your mind over dry mustard for it.

Haha, this is too funny.

No! Behr, I have saved your recipe and as soon as we get good local produce my cousin and I are making yours and Sibby's. You are a HERO to have researched, made, and tested a chow chow recipe. A good man....no matter what Joe and Tin say about you:).

But, just wondering, ......................................................................where is that mac and cheese recipe found?

Was joking. Just thought it was funny that it could have been anything but Mac and cheese. Haha.

Here is the recipe Windy posted that Joe and Malin are supposedly trying this weekend. I wanted to ask Windy a few questions about it but forgot until she was logged off. Gonna try to catch Joe and Malin later, or Windy.

2 cups uncooked macaroni
4 tablespoons butter (I don't add this much)
2 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese (I sometimes mix up the cheese types)
3 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can of cheddar cheese soup (I add 2 cans)
1/2 teaspoon salt (I don't add, there is enough salt elsewhere)
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

This is what the recipe says to do:
-boil the macaroni in water for six minutes. Drain
-in a medium saucepan, mix butter and cheese. Stir until the cheese melts
-in a slow cooker, combine cheese mixture and add the eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, milk, mustard and pepper. Add the drained macaroni and stir again
-cook on low for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasional

This is what windy does:
-cook the macaroni until done
-since I don't want to dirty up another pan, put the macaroni at the bottom of the crock pot. Put all ingredients on top and stir.
-Cook on low for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally
