Things I'm mad about today

Im mad the grocery stores are over priced and nothing decent on sale this week -- when will beef come down in price like gas/oil prices did ? I guess I will eat out all week

We have a small local chain that thankfully usually has good prices on meat. I get can food, cereal, and drinks at Walmart. The only meat I get at Walmart is their steaks. I just bought 5 for $30, that's not bad considering how big they are. Ingles Ribeyes are usually two small ones in a pack for $20.

why would that matter -- isn't Haslam getting re elected ? The clown that runs Illinois has been in office 35 years

Dude, the current govenor of Illinois has only been there since 2015.

Numerous previous governors in the past 35 years served or have served jail time, if I'm not mistaken.

Haslam isn't eligible for re-election. The only Democrat that has declared can't win, and the Republicans who have declared are terrifying.

I would love for Madeline Rogero, the current mayor of Knoxville, to run. It seems unlikely, tho.

Do you realize what living in Tennessee is like? We don't have a state income tax, but we have one of the highest sales tax rates in the country. We also just increased the the gas tax.

I don't mind paying taxes, because I enjoy having things like roads, schools, etc. However, that seems to be your major rub with Illinois if I recall correctly.

Before you move, I would take the time to understand what's happening in your own state and the one you want to move to.

LOL Mike Madigan is the power in Illinois - the House Reps do what he tells them to do --- he owns Chicago -- Any Gov elected in Illinois has zero chance with this guy in office --- Taxes are not the sole reason I want to leave - I want warmer weather and to be around people that like everything Vols --- If you know who 95 is on here ask him how bad this state sucks. http://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-illinois-madigan/

I don't deny you that Illinois is one of the most corrupt state in the Union.

It is warmer here. Climate change is a *****. If you want to live in Nashville, move to Davidson County side of Brentwood for Vols fans and affordability. Williamson County Brentwood is much more expensive.

Nashville is also a transplant city, so lots of other fan bases and faux-Vandy fans in the city proper.

On Vol gamedays -- ouch !

I know! I can say no, but I hate to cause they like me, plus I can make some good money working on Saturday. We're probably going to Florida for fall break, so that'll help.
