Things I'm mad about today

I hate being like this, but it just made me mad. I'd looked forward all day to eating grouper at the landshark restaurant. It wasn't late when we went, little after 5 maybe. We literally sit there about 40 minutes, nobody took our drink order, or even said "I'll be with you in a minute". Several employees constantly walking by us, gathered up about 10 feet away talking, and playing on their phone. We started to leave, but I finally asked if we could get some help, nicely. Little longer than 5 minutes went by, and a guy came to take our order, it wasn't crowded at all. I finally get to order my grouper, and he says "I'm so sorry, we literally just ran out of the breading for that". Idk, I was hangry, frustrated from waiting, but it irked me bad, bad enough I said something. I told him that's the only reason I came there, and if someone had waited on us 30-40 minutes ago, I could've had a chance at getting it. I got over myself, and told my bunch to order, and I would just eat some of Tiffany's mahi from her tacos. He takes their order, then comes back saying they're out of what little bit ordered. She didn't want anything else, and after he walked away I just got mad. Told them we were leaving, told some other guy to tell him nevermind, and we went to Golden Corral. It's just not good business to make people wait like that. I'd been fine if they were out, had we got waited on in less than 45 minutes.

tl;dr

Wife and I took granddaughter to Texas Roadhouse on Wednesday and some woman decided to use the men's bathroom and a couple of dudes in there hollerin and quite a controversy in the restaurant

Today we went to Red Lobster, and we were standing to be seated. Dude walks up to me and tells me I need to flush my B*** hat in the toilet (of course it was the UT hat I got for Father's Day) before he made a big smile: two teeth and he was wearin a B*** hat. Got seated and wife had left her phone in the car, went to get it for the coupon she had on her phone, stopped at the bathroom on the way back to the table. There was the toothless Bama boy in the handicapped stall with another dude and about the time I walked in, he decided to walk out of the stall. He took off running out the door as did the other dude. So I turned around and the people who seat you were wondering what TF happened in the bathroom and why those guys ran outta there and I told em. Did my best to salvage what was left of my appetite and right before we were leaving a dude comes in there wearing a shirt that says "No Lives Matter." Our server was black and was at our table when she saw the dude's shirt, and she went to get the manager. We paid and got TF out of there.

Edit: Oh yeah, and got panhandled at the damn Food Lion, coming out of the store with store brand soda. Told the dude, "Damn, man, I was just about to ask you for some money. I had to buy FL brand today." Freaking idiots everywhere.

You got me beat🤣. Like I said, I hate that I got mad. I can completely understand a place running out of food. Throwing that on top of us not getting waited on irked me, especially seeing they had plenty of time to do it.

I'm getting a freaking jury summons in the mail today 😡😡. However, I have a fool proof plan to get out of it. When they ask if I can be impartial, I'm going to stand up and yell, "screw Biden, Trump, the system, and this court". Tiffany don't think it's a good idea 👀🤣

That may get you a contempt citation. Try, "The defendant resembles someone who did me wrong. Honestly, I'll have to struggle against a predisposition towards his being guilty." The defense attorney should excuse you.

First mistake was waiting more than 5 minutes before asking to get a drink order taken. After 10 mins, I would have gotten up and gone somewhere else, said something to the manager on the way out (politely) and then raped them on Google. I have gotten more responses from Google reviews than you can believe. You have to email them a copy though. It's funny to watch someone squirm when they know you have them dead to rights.

If a place is busy that's one thing, but they weren't. If you've got servers piled up on their phone, I shouldn't have to ask for help after 45 minutes.

It's my opinion if servers are huddled up in an area or several areas and you can tell they're not paying attention, then that's common for that place and management sucks.

If I go longer than I think I should, I just get up and leave. What does speaking to a manager do? I don't want my ass kissed and get free stuff because I complained.
