I'm happy to be starting the weekend by sharing a bottle of wine with my wife while sitting on the banks of the Rhine.

We spent a little time in Bingen just across the river from where you are. Lawd, I miss Germany.

I wrote to the B1G advocating a game between Wisconsin and Michigan at Frankfurt stadium as an early start to the season. Early September, Frankfurt has the apple wine festival, and both states have 30+% population of German heritage.

I'm happy that my son will likely be putting up a tent at night in the rain tonight, having done none of the things I advised to get his backpack and equipment squared away, and thus will learn the hard way, while I am comfy and snug as a bug in my bed.
