To answer your question, had to be late '60s. There may have been a bridge but Daddy was an ME, and he was driving.

When I pulled out of the parking lot at work this evening, the sky looked like there was a
window to Heaven, it was so Beautiful, so the sky made me very Happy and I may get
snowed in tomorrow , but the wind is really blowing now
