Banks. I liked that reception/run on the quick pass from Gitmo. He has the kind of size CJP was looking for in a RB. Of course, Jordan and Chandler need their reps first, but I would like to see Banks get a few more carries this week to get him in the mix. Tillman is a WR I'd like to see get some more receptions.

I would like to see some longer passes and less of the quick sideline throws to WRs. None of them have the kind of breakaway speed that can turn those into big gainers like in previous years. Just can't do it. Maybe see if Elion Gonzalez, the speedster track dude can slip past people on a long route. On the OL, I figure Friend/Pruitt will continue switching up the rotation looking for the right mix. But I sure hope they finally settle on something before the sec stretch begins and it's the right brew.

I'd like to see them find the defensive front 7 who really want to be out there making plays. Without naming names, either we have some that can't ever fight off blocks and be in position to make a tackle or they just don't like tackling and don't do it very well. Run to the action and the ball. Get there. Get some.

Here’s what I would do. Over th next two games I’d have a starting group for the 1 and 4th quarters and another for the 2nd and 3rd. Whichever group puts up the best stats becomes the starting lineup for UF.

Get a big lead and begin to work in the youngins with the ones. Not a wholesale substitution, but spot subs. Let them get some experience cause we're gonna need depth in October. Especially that 3rd Saturday.

The list goes on. Every program plays a couple of games that are supposed to be gimmes, these days. It gives you a chance to make adjustments and get your younger players experience before jumping into more challenging opponents.

When Guarantano first arrived, his name was being spelled all sorts of ways. Guarantanamo, Guantanamo, etc. Can't recall now whether I saw another poster call him Gitmo or not, I thought it was an appropriate nickname and much easier. Like Git Mo yards.
